I was a jumper and naturally did the flop.

I could jump a little bit years ago before I got old and slow and a little bit fat.

The Fosbury Flop is iconic.

I'm a little bit sad.

i think the complete opposite, American sports fans are barely fans at all, everyone seems to have second and third favourite teams. In Europe its the complete opposite, especially football (soccer). Fans in Turkey and Serbia and Romania are fucking mental for their teams. Theres a heavy lack of tribalism and tradition in American sports

Baseball fans, more than any other sport, like to use "we" when referring to the team.

I don't get it, it makes me roll my eyes.

Stephen Hawking was 76 when died, spending the last 50 or so years in a wheelchair, increasinlgly unable to move. Exercise? He was the outlier though.

How did Hawking live so long with ALS? Researchers aren’t sure...
