He also won a NCAA title for Wisconsin as a player, a silver medal in the Olympics as a coach, and was an NHL all star.

I’d imagine Michigan doesn’t sponsor women’s hockey since they’d probably have to give up one of their other womens sports due to Title IX restrictions

Yeah sometimes it seems kind of goofy with how few D1 womens teams there are. Otoh, I'm kind of familiar with girls youth/high school hockey in Michigan and there really aren't that many girls teams compared to the boys. Some girls are traveling pretty far to get to practices and games.
So is the issue with the talent pool or do schools like Michigan just not give a shit?
Oh and fun fact, girls high school hockey players have the highest chances of playing in college at a whopping 26%. https://www.ncaa.org/sports/2015/3/2/estimated-probability-of-competing-in-college-athletics.aspx

The WCHA conference tournament may as well be the national championship tournament.

On the one hand it's kind of funny how extremely poor in taste it was, on the other hand, it's a professional team

Red Bull have been mixing a bit of brilliant design with a bit of cheating. Perez qualified almost a full second faster than Hamilton and even after a wind-tunnel penalty for RB for cheating, they are some 5~7 KPH faster than anyone on the straights and they gain 27kph when they open the DRS which is more than anyone else manages to get.
It’s frustrating and perplexing to see they had the least wind tunnel time due to being champions, plus a wind tunnel penalty; and yet they still have untouchable aero.

The league already has Aaron Finch, Mitch Marsh, Nortje, de Kock, Cory Anderson. These are big names already.

What? The incidents that come to mind are decades old. The last major scandal was back in 2013. I see many comments like this without providing any actual context.

Another five seconds and Yanni might have lost to Murin. Or even Van Ness. Certainly not Hodge material.
