Horrible place to work unless you like toxic management. They have a high turnover rate for employees as no one likes being treated like crap. The owner and his management don't care about new employees, they have their little inner circle that can get away with anything and everything. They like to gossip about new employees and tell other employees about your pay rate and if you ask for a raise you best believe everyone is going to know you did, plus they'll tell you it's coming soon every single time no matter how long you ask. If they plan on firing you then your not going to know and you're even going train "someone that is here to help take the load off of you". My advice, don't even bother with them.

We live near national and plainview - same issue all night. Have power cycled modem and seems to be better?

We have to power cycle all the time - it sucks and we never had to with AT&T

Again not sure of your career field, but most any city or county employee with SGF/Greene I’ve encountered as long as it is a reasonable for the job description generally wants to help. They may be like a couple folks I know at county who are admittedly there for the benefits and retirement but still do their jobs well. The city has a call center for citizen issues called the “citizens resource center” that serves as a distribution point for a wide variety of govt department issues to address. From simple issues to much bigger questions, I’ve found a response physically from anything from a day to a couple weeks depending on how big the issue is. I’ve even had some very specific traffic Dept issues where the area engineers call me back and listen and have solved issues within the engineering standards.

I think most city/county workers here want to do a good job and help the area.

I'm not really seeing how what I'm asking for is unethical. Can you explain?

To clarify, I'm not asking anyone to lie and say I'm their best friend from childhood, but that I seem to be a solid guy that they met on the internet. I would actually want to do some back and forth with someone over PM to give them more of my background and whatnot before they refer me.

My uncle worked for them for over a decade. Lovely company with great owners. My uncle got cancer and had to quit. 3 years later when he passed away (in November) they sent a card to my grandparents. He loved working at BJ's and I think he would recommend them.

Yup, just noticed that my internet went out when my thermostats wouldn’t respond to their app.

Also having this issue today, drops out and comes back after a few minutes but has happened several times. Download speeds are garbage as well. Very frustrating. West side, out near Republic.

Yeah it's been really annoying for me today! I dd call them and they said it was an area-wide issue but didn't specify. I didn't push. Not a lot customer service people can say to you so when they tell you they're aware of issues that's usually good enough for me.
