I'd second Queen City, never had a problem, no billing issues, never pickup issues. If I get it in the bin by 8am it'll be gone when I get home.
I think they're at $50/3mo now too? Can't complain.

Dropped them like a rock when they doubled my bill out of nowhere. Went with Queen City Disposal and have been very happy with them so far.

Gp stands for general practitioner. Basically a family/local doctor. You can find one at any primary care facility or at the hospitals around here.

This is very sad. Does this effect pan handling at all? Is this legal or illegal?

I've had excellent service from them also. My entire neighborhood is slowly moving over to them.

Well, at least it gets people into a hot meal and a dry roof... and hopefully into some kind of diagnostic program to help them work through whatever broke in their lives that lead to this.
is it great? No. is it SOMETHING? yes.

a lot of great gigs here especially if you’re into punk/hardcore no matter how old you are

Neither side here actually believes that any money will be made from the $750 fines.
That being said, the goal of one side is just to scoot the homeless away. Similar to how years ago people realized a bus ticket to Cleveland (or insert random city halfway across the country) was cheaper than providing services for homeless. It didn't solve the problems, just moved them away.
Similar to now the fine isn't going to solve anything, just get homeless people out of sight. Stupid yes, but unfortunately the people putting this policy in place aren't illogical, they'll likely get their desired outcome (not seeing as many homeless people) while doing nothing for society generally.

Or we could use all that tax money to, idk, help people who don't have homes? Nah, let's just give them a record and warrants. Because after they leave jail they still won't have paid the fine.
This is pathetic.

My experiences with Burl therapists were not bad. I did not use their psychiatrist services at all. But like I said the therapists themselves were okay except for the fact that they kept leaving the company right when I started becoming comfortable with each new person which takes quite a few sessions for me. Retaining the employees is very important to Patient well-being and so that's my beef

They did the exact same thing in my neighborhood last year. The thing was, they didn't care because they had a deal with the neighborhood association, so your trash was included with your dues.
They also missed houses frequently, which is funny because they had every house on the street. And they changed the pick up day three times in less than a year. I was so glad I was able to get away from them when I moved.

You are absolutely right about the turnover rate of psych providers at Burrell... I think Paula Warner is the only one still working here from before I was hired years ago. Most psych providers at Burrell have been great from my experience working with them. Can't say the same for services provided in satellite locations tho...

Each have some plusses and minuses between each other, but I've never been happy with Jordan Valley for psych/PCP services provided to my clients. Been a couple years now since I've had clients receive services there though, so maybe things have changed.

Yeah, growing up in the Bible Belt I can say what turned me away from religion and Christianity were people who claimed to be Christians and just listening to the hate that would spew from their mouths.
