The Hearts of Fire Tattoo Shop was crashed into a second time in just a matter of months. Oh Springfield drivers, why is this intersection so difficult for you to navigate?

Depends. Are you a guy dating a girl or a girl dating a girl or a guy dating a guy? While that shouldn't matter, Branson is pretty close to a lot of rebel flag enthusiasts so . . .

I don’t know why you’re making such a big fuss about my point. All I was trying to say was that more walkable places would be a good idea because people seem to like them. I understand that you’ve heard the sentiment before but not everyone has. I just want to see a little bit of meaningful change in my lifetime and you have to get everyone to recognize that there’s a problem with how we’re designing our cities.

Favorite park in town! I also think Stockstill is pretty underrated. It’s especially magnificent when the Roark Creek is high after a good rain!

> ...but to add to the conversation
That's just it, you're not adding to the conversation, you're diverting it to what you want to talk about rather than what OP wanted to talk about, which was nice spots for a date.
There are lots of good times to talk about it. But it's brought up ad nauseam in completely unrelated comment sections consistently.
No one seems to care about pedistrian deaths? That's just not true. It gets brought up all the time including here and in the news. People in this sub are upset about it often, and rightly so.
Yes, Reddit was created in part for discussion. We just don't have to discuss this particular subject in every thread.

It wasn’t like I came completely from left field though. Not only did I also mention the landing seems like a great spot for a date but to add to the conversation I was simply just making an observation about how people gravitate towards these walkable places for many different reasons including dates. When would be a good time to discuss the cars dominance in lives? It’s an issue we’ve been ignoring for a long time and one that’s been getting worse. Pedestrian deaths are on the rise and no one seems to care. This is what Reddit was designed for: conversation and talking about the issues

OP is asking for date destinations where they can walk around, not a lecture on the evils of the automobile. So no, I don't think it's all that relevant. It's relevant to you, and your ideas, and your passions. But it wasn't what OP was asking about.
When the only tool you have is a hammer, every problem looks like a nail. Every time "car" or "walk" or "lonely" is mentioned, you r/fuckcars people think it's prime time to trot out all your arguments about how cars are the cause of every single problem in the world.
It's not even that I disagree in principle. It's that every post doesn't need to have this argument.

Lakeside Forest trails. The main highlight is the bluff overlook, waterfall (wet season), and bluffside trails.

It’s related because the landing & downtown are very walkable spots and we don’t have enough of them around here so of course I’m going to talk about it! It’s something I’m passionate about. (Edited the last part because I’m was being an ass, sorry other person)

Does this argument have to be shoehorned in to every post now? It's getting tiresome.
"What's the best Mexican restaurant?
"It's so sad how cars have destroyed all the Mexican restaurants, what we need is more walkable neighborhoods. Car culture is so awful."

It’s funny that everyone is saying the landing because that’s naturally the first spot I thought when I went to plan a date for this week. And I think it says something about peoples desires. The Ozarks have been destroyed in favor of car dependency when what the people actually want is more walkability! It doesn’t hurt that it’s right next to Taneycomo but it would still be a nice spot regardless. In the age of loneliness, everyone is craving more of these third places where life can happen and moments/memories can be created outside of a car!

I like the Landing. You can just walk along the lake, feed some ducks, people watch, or walk thru the stores, catch the fountain show and stop in to the arcade or Mellow Mushroom Pizza, or grab some candy and hot chocolate at Kilwins.

Go to the moonshine store first and and “taste” each one for a good buzz. It’s what I like to do it generally lasts half way down the landing.
Also if you tip well and are nice to them they sometimes give double “tastes”

I think the Branson Landing is a good spot to walk around. You don’t even need to shop, just to look around and there’s spots to view the river. Also several places to eat

Dr. H at Fox Grape is fantastic. Listens to all of my concerns, communicates his concerns, and doesn’t charge me for all the extra Novocain I need (it doesn’t work well on me).
Cons: They don’t take all insurances and he’s a talker. 😄

So far, I am really liking what I see.
We have a problem with picky eaters/produce going bad before we eat it, so different sizes of boxes would be great!
Any chance of offering lamb, even if it’s seasonal?

Vapor World has been my go to and for a device I recommend the Uwell Koko (Keep on keeping on). It's small with pretty good battery life, and durable. I'm on my 2nd one only because I lost the first. It's been dropped out of my work truck countless times because I forget it's in my lap (big box truck so about 5 foot drop) and it just keeps on going. Coil life depends on what juice you use. Just a neat little unit that's never done me wrong
