Reply to Grieving family doesn’t get donations from Springfield restaurant fundraiser (Thai Express is said restaurant) by Ozarkian_Tritip
This subreddit and the Welcome to Springfield Facebook group have been too busy eating this dude's ass to see the questionable marketing moves he's been making. A lot of companies do great things for employees, but having to put all that shit on social media wreaks so much of wanting attention. Maybe he paid for an employee's car, but it's really just an inexpensive advertisement. Same with cross-promotion of other businesses. People keep falling for this shit, because "he's a good guy."
Well, look at him now. Not surprised at this latest development at all.

Reply to comment by HardboiledMook in I am sure this is a longshot, but to whoever the lady was at Taco Bell on East sunshine, thank you so much for paying for my meal. You didn’t have to do that for getting in front of me, but I appreciate it and I paid it forward and bought the person behind me’s meal and hope it followed!! by Icy-Tangerine6465
I don't disagree with what you are saying.
My view is someone ahead of me paying for my items is hostile. I did not sign up for this weird chained pay it forward scheme that gives others a fuzzy feeling. I do not want to pay for the four drinks of the person behind me, I want to pay for what I ordered.
If you want to feel altruistic, give the service worker ten dollars and leave me out of it.

The comments on there are supportive of him because of what he's done for the community, not because of his race or anything like that. It's from the fan page for his restaurant. God damn this subreddit loves to try to find racist subtones when there are none. Trust me, there's plenty of racism in town but not everything is.

So you look over your receipts for the period in question. Multiply the total by .05. Add $39. Write a check. Deliver it to the Neale & Newman Law Firm. That sounds pretty straightforward.

Indepence and the stuff I got this time its not my favorite ment. I feel its almost too thick or something. and I had a coil yesterday that tasted like meal I think i primed it wrong and turned it into a dud. My mod is set on five and its acting like normal where I have it on like eight with the other juice or something.

Reply to Is Mint Mobile worth a try? by devour2004
it works anywhere t-mobile works. so if t-mobile is great somewhere ment will be too according to a friend of mine who has/had them now we have consumer which is cheap but not as cheap because they do not outsource there csrs or anything and they sell at target too verses existing totally online. so they are a tiny bit more. I love consumer cellular. I can tell the reps there I am blind without them saying i am sorry. I mean its all good when people say that but I always have to wonder why are they sorry its all I have known.

Reply to Any good places for a first date in Branson? (preferably a park or some place to walk around in) by [deleted]
The Landing and the park at the landing have some good walking areas. Kind of the best all around mix of walking and not walking activities so it's a bit of a go-to. Plus it lends to a bit of sense of security if there's other people around.
Stockstill has some good walking areas as well as creek access if you like to stop and look for pretty walks or get your feet wet a bit (though likely not in january)...as well as it's likely to be a tad more secluded while also not feeling completely isolated.
If you're looking for something more hiking/nature-y there's the trail out where fall creek hits old 76 by Dixie Stampede/Hurts Donuts. It's more physical but its fairly secluded, has lots of beautiful vistas and picture opportunities.
A few other places I've had good talk/walks on are
-From the Landing up Main St (ie past Starbucks up to Dicks 5&10)
-Down the strip pretty much anywhere with decent business/activity.
-That trail by the dam (Dewey Short) out to the marina (good bike spot too).

It’s so true. The writers on Star Trek are amazing. They have tons of quotable lines that are incredibly philosophical.

Yeah. Good call. You can pocket just a little plastic putty knife too. Works great for that kind of stuff.

I usually bring my plastic ice scraper, it works better than the knife and doesn't scratch the signs, but I forgot it in my car this time.

Bring a small bottle of goo gone next time. The orange citrus stuff, not the volatile one. It'll help release those stickers and not mess up any surfaces.

Really? Is that a fact? I’ve only seen Springfieldians jumping to his defense and crying over KY3’s article.
I don’t have any idea. Like I said, the whole thing smells like dirty rotten Chinese fish stand fish. I just don’t have any stake to care more than that. The family didn’t ask for the fundraiser anyways, so Im not really seeing the issue. $39, which dude claims, is all patrons of the restaurant donated.

Branson Landing. That is pretty interesting. It has shops to window shop from and a water fountain show that is free

You're skipping over the part about the need for third places. That bit seems more relevant to the conversation. It's fair to notice that a community craves certain kinds of spaces. And car dependency does influence the kinds of spaces we get to experience and choose between for first dates.

Thanks for the info. I do thoroughly soak and wash all lettuce with water and vinegar. The issue wasn’t that there were bugs on the lettuce which you get in grocery store lettuce too it’s that the pests had eaten a lot of the lettuce to the point of it being pretty inedible like I’d just get a few leaves per head that were ok. Like when you pay more than at the grocery store and it’s like that it’s disappointing. Like one head I’d get enough to garnish a sandwich rather than make a salad if that makes sense.

Local man accidentally forgets donations would have played. If he hadn't refused to reach out to them for another TWO WEEKS after interviewed
In factually we have an incredibly good local news scene, but you're not incorrect. They make mountains outta ant hills but I at least Don't believe so here.

Everyone has been waiting for you to make good on your promise for several months. Quit dragging your feet, go to the attorney’s office, and leave the check there. The longer you continue to drag it out, the worse you look, no matter how many different posts on social media you make admitting fault.

I know this doesn’t answer your question about a local store, but I just heard of elf bars from my sister.
I usually use a mod and just buy juice but she started using these elf bars and told me about it at Christmas so I wanted to try them. I didn’t know who carried them locally so I just went online yesterday and ordered 4 from white horse vapor . It’s one of the online retailers my sis recommended and they had the juice I needed and elf bars so I ordered from them. Their elf bars are $13.99 The website says they are $19.99 and on sale for $13.99 but my sister has been buying from them for approx 4 months and she said they are always on sale?
My order hasn’t arrived yet since I literally just did this yesterday. And The first time you order from them you do have to do an ID verification for proof of age but my sis said after that her orders usually ship the next day and arrive within 3 days.
Just thought I’d share since the price is good and I literally just happened to come across your post one day after placing my order

I've been carrying one of these with me. It's a replaceable plastic razor. Myriad of uses around the house also.
