I had AT&T internet and they put Quantum in our neighborhood and we switched. Our speed is literally 10 times faster for only $10 more a month. We’ve had it for over a year now and it’s been incredibly reliable. I would definitely recommend it.

I've never had an outage or issues, so I haven't even had to reach out to support. I did feel like at first I was pushing the 700-800mbps speeds, now its closer to 500. This is wired devices, I know that wireless you'll see some degradation.

It is a shared service and the higher plan is "up to 1g" not guaranteed. Fiber is always preferred, and its vastly better than Mediacom coax that I had before. Better price, more bandwidth, and much lower latency.

Traveled to Springfield to visit family a few weeks back, and passed a PT Cruiser with a Punisher sticker on it, next to the Punisher sticker were the words "I have to poop."

Well okay then

I am not sure why anyone would want to announce this to the world unless they are Poking fun at people who put things on stickers like baby on board, co exist, we all need Jesus....et cetera et cetera. Guess I don't get it.

I’ve had the service since may. Didn’t have any issue when it was quantum. As soon as it switched to Brightspeed I started experiencing issues. They didn’t bill me the first month of the switch, then the next month they double billed me. Saw a Reddit post about the same thing happening to others in the area.

I work at a phone store with really bad customer service. Our customer service is all foreign and speak broken English, so I know how annoying it can be to communicate, but you learn overtime how to get your point across in a simple way they can understand. I contact Brightspeed customer service expecting somewhat of the same experience, but nope, they speak NO English.

Another month goes by, and again this month, my payment wasn’t taken out. I tried using the in app chat to get it resolved, the representative couldn’t even understand what my problem was so I decide to call their customer service. Explained that my autopay hadn’t come out yet. The guy says “so, I understand you can’t access your account?” I repeated my problem 4-5 times slower and easier to understand. He proceeds to send me an email to reset my password and then ends the call.

Never got the problem resolved, and I expect to be double charged next month for the payment they didn’t take out. Thinking of switching to a different company if it continues.

TL/DR: if you’re looking for great internet with no interruptions, and you’re okay with virtually no customer service, and you want to play a 50/50 game on whether your payment will actually get processed monthly, then go with Brightspeed.

We've had the service for a long time -- I think we were among the first to get it. The service has been very reliable except for a day recently when it seemed to go in and out all day. That issue was resolved by the next day.

There were some billing issues when Brightspeed first acquired them but those also seem to have been ironed out.

My husband works from home and has to have reliable internet and so far they have been better than AT&T fiber was.

It has been working reliably for me outside of a day around the holidays when it was having issues network wide.

Some people including me had significant issues getting it installed. But now that I don't have to talk to them anymore I'm happy. The speeds are unmatched in Springfield.

Personally I consider dealing with Mediacom and AT&T far worse.

This looks like it might be a post about area ISPs because it contains the word Brightspeed. If so be sure to read past posts on the subject. They all basically say this: In Springfield your options are Mediacom, Att, and now Brightspeed Fiber (in limited areas).

& in fact the family did reach out & he responded but then didn’t follow through. There are screenshots above. Hollow promises & it just doesn’t seem like it was a top priority for him. He has repeatedly said he’s learned from this but also hinted that he would consider suing KY-3 for defamation, when in fact if this story hadn’t aired, it most likely would never have been paid.

Caesar's or Tacos El Champu get's my vote for Mexican style. Kung Fu Taco for just really good fried shrimp tacos with an Asian flair.
