I actually heard recently that the at the end of the Special Olympics big event, they have a big party for the kids and the volunteers often provide prom dresses and such for them.
It was all secondhand from someone who was assisting volunteers there, but maybe it's a place to look into if you're interested?

I used to go there a few different names ago. I would always ride my bicycle up there with friends and play pool and it was always a good time.

Stepchild's is a fabulous, albeit tiny, neighborhood dive bar that always has friendly people in it. A nice combination of alcoholics, blue-collar folk, and 20-to-30-something food service workers

Whenever I’m bored I usually like to chill in one of the wide variety of coffee shops we’ve got here. Both kingdom locations are great but the one downtown has a vibe I like more. Travelers, Eurasia, and Coffee Ethic are also my regulars. We have a TON.
