Homemade chicken sandwiches. Banquet or Tyson breaded chicken filets, buns/bread, cheese and toppings if you’re feeling fancy. Pop a filet in the microwave or toaster oven while you prep your bun.

Recently spent 30 minutes meal prepping breakfast burritos for the freezer. Eggs are pricey but if you find a good deal you could make a weeks worth of food in a very short time. Especially if you assemble line the process.

Like someone else mentioned, Walmart sells precooked fajita style steak or chicken. Throw it in a tortilla or pita with veggies.

ETA: make big pots of soup when you can and freeze the left overs. You can pull some out the night before to start thawing. Should be able to cook in a microwave as well.

Nice of you to assume that I'm not doing anything to help the homeless....

Except for that I help at food drives, I put a ton of extra food and a ton of different drop off food boxes, And I on multiplications of opened my home of people when they needed it to not freeze to death. Oh and when I was in cab driver there in Springfield I would give people free rides because they need it again where not to freeze to death again. Edit misspelling

I can understand your feelings and what you're saying for Pat Sr's actions after her death, but I really have trouble with why you're trying to erase Anna's achievements. She was the one with the college education in business who was responsible for the growth and expansion, the cook, the mother. Not sure where you're getting that Pat Sr. gave up any rights to the business to his wife.

Not to downplay how shitty this is but I'm not understanding how capitalism is to blame when it's the government creating a law targeted at government owned property

Rana pasta microwave meals. They're a little pricey but oh so good. Quick to make, too.

Those refrigerated meat things at Aldi. Like the Carnitas or Hawaiian Chicken or whatever. I microwave a bag of veggies, a pack of couscous or something, and those. It's like 10 minutes to make.

A bagged salad with leftover chicken or steak, or those steak or chicken strips. We add an avocado usually and some cherry tomatoes. Sometimes some garlic bread or something, sometimes not.

Neighbor's Mill if you're on the southside. It's under $20 for 2 of us.

The law does nothing but make it harder to get off the streets. Why are you going to punish people that are so far behind already because they are behind. There aren't just some issues with this law, The whole law is garbage so that some dumb ass makes way too much money off of our taxes can pat himself on the back.

It was a gift. Pat Sr. gave everything to his wife and kids including exclusive rights to owning it, yet he was the one behind the register, directing everyone including his son (and his wife back in the day), and making sure people got free fresh soup with every meal. I think he owned it more than whatever is on paper, similar to when a family buys a son a car and gives them the title.

So the government stops the homeless from sleeping on government land and that is the fault of capitalism? I’d think unicorns and marmalade are equally at fault too. Good ‘ol Springfield logic.
