The problem is and I see this all over the country, there’s no more starter homes, I’m. It asking got a McMansion, but can they build more 150k starter homes that have the basic necessities that if needed I could renovate myself. It feels like developers are missing a huge market out there.

Firehouse Pottery is a nice outing, followed by dinner. It'll give you an opportunity to talk and get to know each other while creating. And, as a bonus, if your relationship works out (which I hope it does) you'll have a wonderful token of that first date. If you're not aware, Firehouse lets you purchase a piece of pottery which you glaze and then they fire. You pick up the finished piece in a week...which could also serve as a great reason for date #2! They have lots of glazes and instructions, you can't really fail. But, on the slight chance you find your creations hideous, you can use those as target practice at the gun range on date #3!

My post was prompted by a culture shock moment. When I asked for an application for a front of house pizza place job, they said it paid 1/2 minimum wage. I then asked what was the average tip take home after shift. Was told depends on the server. No TY!

Why not open your own restaurant and pay the wait staff minimum wage? If it works out, you'll surely put pressure on other businesses to do the same. You wouldn't be forcing anyone to do anything and could still enact the change you wish to see via leading by example.

Yes, because once companies aren’t forced to pay a minimum wage, they will surely start paying more than minimum wage. Who knew it’s been the law keeping people poor all this time.
