Look into Wooten properties, they are a equal opportunity housing, so you may have more luck finding something in your price range. From my experience they only have asked for proof of income. However, not all property managers are the same, and anecdotally, myself as well as others, haven't had the best experience with Wooten and Security deposits. , So make sure to take plenty of photos on move in to prove, if any damages exist before move in there photo evidence and written evidence.

Tacos el Gordo has good ones, there’s two locations, but if you’re willing to drive, down highway 65 before Branson in Saddlebrooke there’s Taqueria El Camino in a gas station and they’re amazing
