I wouldn’t be so quick to jump on this train. The Crossing Path PAC has zero foothold in Missouri politics and continues to be a dud when it comes to legislation getting passed. They couldn’t get it done with their Cannabis house bill and now they are trying this. Seems the focus needs to be on convincing the GQP that they don’t need to make a profit off everything and actually help their veterans that they hurt everyday.

Neighborhood roads are typically worse as they don’t get touched by the city. I drive a heavier car, and after leaving my second job last night I slid all over on Campbell. Just be safe. Don’t assume ice or sand or shovel trucks go through neighborhoods. They don’t.

I've been to the gym and back with stop at walmart then headed to work- all with little issues.

Van Gogh Eeterie (check out historic C street! Especially when the farmers market is in)

Andy’s Frozen Custard (with their pumpkin pie in October)

Wok on Scenic (best fried rice Lordy)

London Calling (I highly recommend a sticky toffee for dessert)

George’s Family Restaurant (recession proof breakfast before 11 am my friend)

Gailey’s Breakfast Cafe (chicken tender to die for)

Greek Belly (especially when they have local lamb)

Red Giant Hamburger (for vintage dining)

Dancing Mule Coffee Company

The Sub Shop (I think cash only and strict hours, worth it!)

Tacos El Chumpo!! (YALL TRY A TORTA!!!)

So so much more but these are my staples of Springfield eating, I definitely left out a lot of favorites. I’m so so sad to not have Casper’s right now

Glenstone inside lanes are mostly clear, outside lanes are slightly sketch. Intersections are still a little rough. Be careful when changing lanes.

Side roads are mostly hard pack snow and ice.

For the most part it's safe to commute if you pay attention, keep it slow, and make smooth transitions.

I just went out to grab a coffee. Side roads in the neighborhood are still covered in ice. As soon as I hit a main road it was 100% clear, just wet.

I recommend Wok on Scenic for some of the best Chinese I’ve had here, the mall has the best teriyaki beef I’ve ever had from Pan Pacific Grill, and if it’s 50/50 on Max Orient having the best Bourbon Chicken in town (mostly because of freshness, it’s so good I take the risk, just get there in the middle of the day)

I don’t have an opinion on any cashew chicken in town cause I haven’t pinpointed my favorite for it yet, still exploring!

I highly recommend getting a pasty from London Calling at the mall while you’re there, they hand make just about everything there!! Bangers and Mash pasty with their Guinness Brown Gravy is a killer combo

Neighborhoods are pretty rough, but main roads are 100% clear. Even yesterday was very doable, today it’s basically just wet on the roads.
