TurboTax still charges. We have been using Credit Karma (through the IRS Free File) because they are the only service on there not charging our tax bracket.

I agree with the majority. Ice is different than snow. With that said, the first two times school was cancelled-it was just snowy and was melted or plowed by late morning. When I was growing up they had 2 hour morning delays for these type of situations. Now, with the ice the last 3 days, if you look at the parking lots and residential neighborhoods, they are bad! And that’s where the danger comes in because the buses are having to drive through neighborhoods to pick up kids. And yes, I’d much rather get a call the night before when you know the weather is not getting any better, than at 5 am.

Okay I got a specific request here. My wife and I are looking for another xbox playing couple who wants to start a Stardew Valley farm. We also play games like Borderlands, Sea of Theives, and Deep Rock Galactic. Hit me up if interested! We're pretty chill and like making friends with everyone.

It is in our back pocket right now! We visited and the place is absolutely beautiful. The downside is that there are no buildings large enough to hold everyone in case of weather.

I have actually filmed there and the owners were very accommodating at the time - I know one of them has a daughter who lived near Branson
They have a visitors center we used for meals and staging - I seem to remember it being a decent size but can’t say for certain as it was about 12 years ago
It’s worth keeping on a back up list - lots of room for tents, if they have maintained the bathrooms no need for portapotties, and event tents could be attached to the visitors center
When we filmed there we used the space for free in the off season and I fell in love
Currently trying to convince my husband it would be worth buying and trying to find investors 😂

Had an old teacher that lived in South Korea several years doing ESE, he loved Bawi in Springfield.

It looks like it would be very cool to visit! But if I'm reading this correctly, it's been closed since 2012? As much as I would LOVE to hold an event here, it's too primitive for what we need, as I don't see any structures that can hold 150 people and all their stuff - would need electricity and plumbing. Thank you for the recommendation though! I wonder if anyone will ever pick up the project again.

I’ll be real, I didn’t even think of Asian hair needing different care than Caucasian. This is a learning experience!

Have you been going through the IRS Free File page? Anyone who makes 73k or less can file a federal tax return for free, no matter how complicated. Some state filings are free as well.

Been a local my whole life and the word tornado puts me to sleep. Meanwhile, my fiancé, who is not a local, used to freak the F out during tornado season when she first moved here. She’s gotten a lot better about it since then.

My sister used to work for a hospital. She doesn’t have to work but chooses to do so but switched and does in home care and said it’s so much better.

I work for a healthcare company, a snow day is a snow day is a sick day. We don’t have “excused” snow days, so pardon my disbelief.

Koriya is good, but it's anything but authentic. If you want to try real authentic Korean, go to Golden Korean Restaurant on Sunshine near bass pro. It's so good.
I asked a bunch of Korean students I'd met at MSU where the most authentic Korean was, and every one of them said Golden Korean Restaurant when I'd ask. It's so much better than Sue's. Better than Jin's, even though I miss that place.

There are a few childcare options available for school age children. I personally use the one through the Parkboard but the Y as well as the OC in Ozark have this service.
