I drive faster than most but if someone is behind me I move over for them but ironically I never have an issue with people moving out of the left lane when I come up behind them.

I've driven all over the country and missouri drivers are more polite than I've seen in texas and a lot of other states lol

But even if I'm doing 20 over I get right back in the right lane when not actively passing anybody lol

I just want to defend them in saying that kids, elementary age, are used to a lot of programming throughout the day. It does get exhausting to compete with that, when you aren't used to providing a new activity every 15 minutes or so. I love being with my kid, but her teacher is brilliant at what she does. Also, we are not in SPS.

That works only as long as both lanes have full driver support of that method. Unfortunately like all things that rely on full cooperation on asshole ruins it and sets in motion more doing it different. And if you think people everywhere know how this works you haven't driven far have you? I've seen people mess that up in every state, from Michigan to Texas and To Florida. I've heard west coast ain't much better.

haha I didn't go to that concert but I do remember STP playing at the Mosque. My first real concert was KC and the Sunshine Band at Hammons Student Center. My folks saw Elvis play there. Some really good bands played there when it opened, Heart, Doobie Brothers

Have a friend in Florida, and this summer their utility company has to buy electric from duke electric. Had an almost $600 Bill.

I set my heat to 62, and we just bought an electric blanket. Have a smart thermostat (CU had a deal for those, I think), so when no one is home, I turn it down to 60. After a while, 64 seems warm.

For anyone interested in potentially going back to school - if you are 25 or older and have not earned a Bachelors degree, check out Fast Track. It is a grant program (money you don’t have to pay back) in MO for adult students and covers tuition & fees. You can use it at OTC, MSU, or other public college/universities in Missouri. You can find out more info here: https://students.otc.edu/fasttrack/

If money is the thing keeping you from going back to school, it’s a good time to look at options! There may be options out there to help pay for school you aren’t aware of!
