The corollas used a different engine, better, but different. Your best bet would be from an 80s Toyota Hilux (truck) since they used the same engine. Obviously, make sure I'm right about the engine being a 22re first though.

Edit*. I've owned two early 80s corollas. The 3tc they used in those things was a fantastic little powerplant.

Edit**. If yours is a late 85 then it may have used something other than the 22re....I guess 1985 was when they released the next generation of the Celica.

You must not remember when the first dispensaries opened in MO.

There was a wait line wrapped around the building, and sold out for the week within a few hours.

Inventory will be become more readily available in time and the wait time will relax once people get their stash and the novelty wears off

Many are projecting rec use will outweigh medical use by the end of the year (or sooner) though.

Hippos has always been great to me, but i stocked up before rec became legal and haven't even tried to stop at dispensary since, so could be different now.

Machining and rebuild is labor intensive, so I'm not surprised it's been quoted higher than a remanufactured engine. If it's a 22re, you might be able to find a decent used engine fairly cheap, those things just run forever.

My understanding was that Motor Machine on commercial was one of the best machine shops in town. That said, they are small and have always had a big backlog.

We are north of the Westside betterment community ball park and south of Mt vernon. Been here for 8 years and we've had our share of unwelcome guests, but it has gotten much more livable in the last year. We have that ~one neighbor~ who is textbook tweaker, but that's better than the 5-6 neighbors we used to have matching that description. It is definitely on the upswing but not completely immune.

I live in a culdesac north of Mt. Vernon and South of chestnut and west of bypass. I've been here for like 12 years. My street is usually fairly quiet. Every once in a while a bad renter moved in. Not great, but never been robbed or anything like that. Wouldn't just go for a walk after like 11 but that's about it.

Honestly, I don’t follow all of that so I don’t know. I know GDF gets a lot of hate over Missouri as a whole, but GDF west is some of the nicest staff. And they have all kinds of price points from like 25+.

Honestly, what I suggest doing is gathering all The names and shopping their websites.

You’re a bit off on the history. Steak and Ale was a national chain that went bankrupt and closed in 2008. Ownership didn’t change hands, Jimm Swafford was the manager of Steak and Ale, the building owner was Errett Sechler who wasn’t interested in running the place when it closed, but a year later changed his mind and let Jimm open and run the place as a tenant. Sechler died in 2019 and the family sold their properties, including Plaza Tower’s and Jimm’s to Marco Denis.
