I recently learned the recreational amendment included privisions for employees to not discriminate against medical card holders! feel like it's high time for EVERYONE to get a med card for this reason alone

When I was 18(and living in a different state)my ex threw a pound of marijuana butter out into my back yard without telling me(idk if it went bad or what, he was working at a dispo at the time). My dog acted weird for two days and I dropped almost a grand at a vet freaking out till he finally came clean and told me she was probably ungodly high. She couldn’t stand up straight and kept just toppling over with her tongue half out of her mouth. She lived 7 more years after that reaching the ripe old age of 17, so I still wouldn’t say deadly overdoses are a danger… unless you feed that amount to your pet rat or something.

That was an extreme case, but keep your edibles out of reach like you would any other drug. It won’t kill your dog, but like, it probably wouldn’t be very nice either.

>anyone wants a walmart built right next to their house.

If given the choice almost no one wants anything right next to their house, they'd prefer a buffer area of nature. So that's not a Walmart or apartment building specific thing. Dude in the article is mad he's losing his nature buffer. If it was a ranch house being built there he'd still be pissed and complaining, but no one would care or quote him in an article.

Me, if somethings got to go next to where I live, I prefer the Walmart. At least it's useful to me and Walmart won't regularly drag heaps of trash into the open to burn on their lawn like multiple single family home-owners have done near me in the past...

>or walmart

Having lived near a Walmart, it's actually pretty sweet. It's so convenient when you need something for a recipe you're out of, or you don't feel like cooking and want to pick up a pre-made salad.

If you're thinking "but the noise", what noise? Even the 24 hours ones never had much traffic late at night, which is when you need quiet, and none of them are 24 hour now anyway.

I agree with the point you were trying to make, but I think you have the wrong idea about why Walmarts get NIMBY'd. Usually it's people trying to protect local grocery stores and small businesses closing as a result of Walmart taking their customers.

I mean, if you were actually a fan you’d probably wouldn’t be waiting to order merch four days before the Super Bowl… wink wink

But around here? You might luck out at a thrift store for some older eagles gear. Rally House just has the “dueling logo” knickknacks (pennant, lanyard, decals). Or you could check Facebook marketplace for some good ole bootleg gear, or order online with 2 day shipping.
