It sounds like they are going to have some smaller, more affordable apartments. Not sure why this is so terrible. The woman who was using her child having autism as a reason to not do the project was especially sad and seems desperate. People claiming it will bring down their property values? Gotta be kidding me - when does new housing on the north side, or almost anywhere, adversely effect home values?

I used to go to IndieBlue…but then they ruined my hair color and still chose to charge me close to $300. They told me they couldn’t do my hair the color I wanted. We settled on a color close, then it still turned out awful. I stayed til 9pm (my appointment was scheduled for 5pm) after they asked if I could come back the next day to fix it but I said I was not leaving until it was fixed. It still did not turn out the way I wanted and expected them to at least take some of the price off.

Lkq remanufacturing does not drug test. They haven't for a few years now. Starting pay is over $16 an hour I think. No experience necessary, just hopefully be trainable. And wipe your own ass.

Is there a way to re-zone this so that higher density housing can be built, but it must always be owner-occupied? Like, can we mandate that this development must be condos? I would imagine that that would be the end of it, because condos don't offer an eternity of income at the expense of the equity of the residents. Our ratios of rentals to owner-occupied are already way, way, way too high.

It’s far from the Northside, but MOJO in Nixa is remaining medical only while their lobby is under construction. I believe their drive-through is still open.

I can get a crate engine for $1,500, but I really want to do it myself. I recently rebuilt my transmission from a youtube video and it was surprisingly quick, cheap, and easy. I think I paid $175 for new bearings and syncros. I've had my engine apart while it was in the car before. I took the rods off and the pistons out, and I honed the cylinders and re-ringed the pistons, but it has 300,000 miles on it now and it needs a boring. It has low compression on one of the cylinders, but a fairly newly rebuilt head.

I tried calling La Luna a few different times to schedule an appointment after hearing good things. They asked me a bunch of questions about my hair type and so on, and told me they'd have to have someone call me another day to schedule. Never received a call back, and was told the same thing every time I tried to phone them. I have extremely coarse, dense 2c/3a hair, so idk if it was related to my hair type or what, but it put a bad taste in my mouth. I only saw white girls with perfect shiny smooth hair on their site, so I assumed it was because I wasn't their "ideal" client type/aesthetic lol

Why aren't you just growing it? You get to pick literally anything and everything. It's a fraction of the cost. Like i paid 400$ or less for my tent and light and air filter and fan. That's all you need. Fabric pots and nutrients and seeds are probably another 100$ you can spend as little as you want though. It might sound expensive but in the long run it's so much cheaper. I haven't paid for weed in years now, that alone as made it so much easier to save money.

If you're trying to do wax and extracts you'll probably just have to settle for hash. Get some dry sift screens or bubble hash bags. It's a whole other art and skill to make extracts. It's pretty cool though. Unless you want to spend the 400$ plus for a press. You can look into it. There's a way to do it with a hair straightener. But it's almost not worth it.

I've heard penmac, bass pro, walmart quit testing for weed in the past year. My current job tests for everything but cannabis (except for positions that require operating machinery).

Ymmv, but I'm done taking breaks to pass a test for a job. I'm not going to be hush hush about my usage either. It's legal now, I am comfortable adopting that mindset in all areas of my life.

I went once for what I expected to be a higher tier cut than what I'd get at a supercuts. While the wash was nice, the straight hair cut was just fine. No different, still about 10 minutes. I kind of figured but still hoped I'd have a better cut, but I feel there's probably not much that can be done with a long straight cut.

However, what ruined my experience was that I told them I don't like to use product or heat on my hair because my scalp is sensitive. The hairdresser burned the ever living shit out of my scalp because she blow dried my hair longer than it took to cut. I tried having her stop after about 5 minutes straight, but she said the middle/ends were still damp and she wanted them dry to check evenness. Then continued to pass the blow dryer over my scalp. Dealt with that scalp damage for over a week until the tingling and sensitivity subsided. At home, my hair takes no more than 5 minutes to dry, and I'm able to constantly keep the heat moving so I'm not concentrating in one area.

Hair cut was like $70 with tip because it was a long cut or something. I think, like most high-end salons, they prioritize color treatments over regular cuts.

First off, pets cannot consent to anything. I know the article is basically like make sure your pet can’t get into it. But also, FUCK Philip brown and animal care hospital, I used to take my cat there and he was always extremely rough and aggressive with my cat. Just overall icky feelings from him every time I went which wasn’t very much.
