Just so you realize, it's not going to be your own apartment, It's going to be a room with a shared common space and 2-3 other people.

I second this. everything I've had at Progress has been second-to-none and would hold up in a bigger city

Go just a little further to Hollister. The entire downtown is just as cozy as you please, and the surrounding area is so full of hidden gems it might as well be mined by dwarves. I've reservations tomorrow night at Mr. Gilberti's, which is deceptively nicer, more romantic and ambient than it seems when you read that it's a pizza joint. I get dressed up for it.

I like koriya as well. They seem very well priced for quality food. Like someone else said its not very “romantic” but I still like the atmosphere.

There’s a place on the square in Marshfield, but I don’t know what it’s called. Bissman furniture was built here in Springfield, so it’s most abundant vs Haywood Wakefield.

Aside from our skatepark, I often skate at the park in Eureka Springs. It’s a sweet little bowl in the woods. There’s no sign, and you can’t see it from the road, so you have to know about it. I’ve never seen other skaters there. Bartlesville, ok has a super nice Evergreen park, but unfortunately it’s not one of the moonscape style parks they are known for. Big deep but mellow bowl. The gathering place in Tulsa has one of the best skateparks in this part of the country. Sick mellow bowl and a snake run. KC has an awesome bowl in the park by the WWI museum. Penn Valley I think. Big and somewhat severe, and a hair out of my league, but very nice. The skaters there absolutely shred.

One of the police scanner groups I'm in reported there was a standoff with someone barricaded in the home, possibly with a gun. It lasted for hours.

Zayka and Nonna’s. I haven’t been to nonnas in probably 15 years though so take that with a grain of salt, but I remember it being kinda sophisticated and dim and they had a live guitarist

Organic, grass fed? How many words they gonna give you before you realize they’re all buzz words to grab your attention. The best you’re gonna get it but regular groceries and cooking it yourself. You save money and know what’s in your food. Oh wait, you wanna look ‘cool’ 🤣
