Ah, good to know, so there was a kernel of truth to it. My friend was telling us about him losing his parents and that not changing his views.
Either way, glad he came around, but sad for the circumstances.

He was anti-vax and against COVID policies. However, after losing one of his friends/employees and father to COVID, and nearly losing his mom, his stance changed.

I’ve always liked Cherokee Firearms. They have a pretty good selection and a nice range

Depends on how you define good, and what you are looking to buy.

After my wife and I tried Cafe Cusco and Van Gogh's for the first time in 2021, my friend was telling us about how we need to avoid them because the owner was very much against COVID policies and wasn't doing anything to protect their staff/patrons. We ended up avoiding the restaurants for a few months until I tried to verify those claims myself and couldn't find a source at all.
Seeing the initial downvotes on the comment above reminded me of that.

Agreed. I was so excited to try this for the first time and was majorly disappointed.

We grew up eating Lucy's, it's always been the best to me! Best crab rangoons too.

Why? A city had hundreds of miles of road, thousands possibly, if you only every did one "significant" road at a time you'd never keep up with the maintenance and improvements needs. You have to have multiple ongoing projects at once.

While they probably might win in court, the question is will it be worth the time and expense. Because the probability of them being cited and having to go to court is better than 50%. It would be a he said they said type conflict and most police I've delt with tend to refer that to the prosecutor to deal with. So then you need to get a lawyer and spend time going to court.
I'd still call animal control and submit a report, so they have a record in case this has occurred before and they have a nuisance dog file open.

I’ve run into this a lot recently on the trails. I just stop in my tracks and grab my dog by the harness until the person gets the message and moves along. I cannot stand that shit.
TGov t1_jb5btyf wrote
Stick it in your ear has a good selection but prices are all over the place. Do your research. Heavy Head seems a bit more reasonable on new stuff at least but their selection isn't as big.

I would agree with all of these, Commercial has some hidden gems. I'd also add Lindberg's for their Sunday brunches and burgers. Their Diablo burger is awesome.

That's one of the reasons I find reddit really cringey. If the crowd disagrees with something it can be downvoted and made to disappear. Doesn't exactly lead to open conversation when contrasting opinions can be buried. You learn more in life from the people you disagree with.
That being said, I'm surprised there were (and continue to be) downvotes. It's a pretty popular restaurant and not at all controversial. It's not like I recommended mexican villa or something. :P

I would add Karai to this list. Same owners as Haruno so the sushi/hand rolls are excellent, but the ramen is top-notch.
