Here’s what I don’t get: in order to be married you have to be a) not already married, b) over 18, c) of sound mind, and not related to the proposed partner. NO WHERE does it say you have to love that person, or live with that person, or want to be intimate with that person , or frankly, even KNOW that person. I can marry some random person from the opposite sex that I’ve never met, but I can’t marry my best friend from childhood that has cancer and needs my insurance just because they are the same sex as me? How is that NOT discrimination based on sex?

Federal Offence. Max sentence 20 years. Has prior robbery on his record. Cooperated with police when confronted. No violence was documented in the article.

Q. What are your opinions on sentencing?

Q. Do you think he already got time in the Federal prison in Springfield and never kept town when released?

Q. Do you think the prison contributes to the crime/unhoused problem in Springfield?

A. Not a danger to society. Sentence for ten years, out in 3(ish?)

A. Possible. A lack of family and friends network could easily cause a mental breakdown such as this.

A. Probably. I am not saying NIMBY, I am saying the federal government should provide resources for returning citizens to prevent this type of situation. It is possible they do and I don't know about it.

Darkstone right across the street is locally owned and far superior as far as flavor. 7 brew and Echelon are hot garbage in my honest opinion. Mudhouse, Roots, Kingdom and Big Momma’s are all worth a try if you are including food. Love the blog Pixel!
