The late fees are cheap, five dollars a month, I believe.

Also, the assessor's, and especially the collector's offices are very easy to deal with if you ever need to talk to them on the phone or in person.

Edit: It's 10% the first month and 2% each month thereafter. So it could actually be a lot of you owe a lot, my bad.

Springfield has high taxes. I live in Bokivar. And enjoy much lower.... but I also stash money each month to be able to pay.

If you have to wait, it's just a small fine, the amounts should be on your bill. But the fine increases every month

I always set aside money through the year to cover my taxes, makes the sting a little less. $3200 between insurance, property, real estate, and plates this year, glad I'm outside Greene or it would be more.

Could donate plasma at biolife, if you want to try and avoid the late fees?

Tbh I hardly ever pay my taxes on time. It’s the worst time of year for it. I know I should plan it out during the year but I also never know how much it’s going to be either. It sucks. They do charge a late fee, but it’s not too bad for the first few months. Honestly I just say fuck it and wait as long as possible 🫠

edit I do believe you will need to pay it before registering a car, though

Not sure exactly how flexible the schedule is; you'd probably have to check with someone in EVS for a concrete answer, but to my knowledge they're pretty flexible in most departments. I'm also not sure if they'll have a drug test for weed with the legalization coming up, but to my knowledge they do test all new hires.

Cox Health is hiring housekeeping staff for their EVS team (nothing too serious, most of the work is dusting and sanitizing), starting pay is like $16.60. We're constantly understaffed, if you look on Cox's website then you can find an application portal, more than likely they will reach out.
