You're cute.

I am very aware of the costs of our imperialism globally, as you could see if you went through my past posts.

The only reason Qatar doesn't match or exceed those numbers is their economy doesn't come close to ours.

Regardless of the whataboutism spewing wantonly from your asshole, it is perfectly acceptable to criticize all three things, the imperialism driving the American military, as well as a corrupt country who doesn't care about the lives of women, migrants, or minority groups in general, and a corrupt "sporting" institution with ties to money laundering and organized crime.

This could be an epiphany for you, where you realize just how big of an asshole you are, or it could show just how many assumptions you make on a daily basis. But, I'm gonna guess that isn't going to happen, and you'll be right back here attempting to make condescending remarks just to find some kind of meaning in your bleak existence.

Didnt think my post would be so controversial. Do people in Springfield have nothing else to do but be on their phones and critique? All I asked was a spot to go to, not to get lectured of what’s real football, the immigrant situation in Qatar, or that chess is better.

>Comparing the USA to Qatar is one hell of a stretch. Let me know when the government starts murdering LGBTQ+ individuals for simply existing.

Workers killed in Qatar since they were awarded the world cup in 2010: ~6500 = 541/year for 12 years straight.

Civilians killed as a result of US military action in just 5 countries since 2001: 387,072 = 18,432/year for 21 years straight.

This could be an epiphany moment, where you realize how out of touch with reality you are. Or it could show you how you've been manipulated to hold certain lives as more important than others. But, I'm gonna guess neither of those will come to pass and you'll just double down. Seems like the phrase 'You cannot reason someone out of something he or she was not reasoned into' is very relevant.

Georgia Macs is where the American Outlaws watch all US national team games. We started the chapter 12 years ago and had ups and downs with membership levels as people left town. I’m not sure how many people will watch the remainder of the games. Tough when the finals are Sunday morning at 9 am. We used to each at Skinny Skims but had a falling out with ownership. Plus they don’t serve food. BTW they also have great coverage of the NFL when it’s time to watch Chiefs games… Yeah, soccer people also watch football.

OTC actually just finished an advanced manufacturing training building that does exactly this. It's the big new place at the corner of national and division. MSU and Rolla have been working on their engineering coop program as well. You can now get a mechanical engineering degree there as well as electrical or civil. And don't quote me, but I believe otc offers a couple of years free as part of missouri's A+ scholarship program, which is pretty easy to get for high schoolers. The opportunities are there.

There's a lot of good paying light manufacturing work around here. People seem to overlook it. I worked those jobs through college then spent time in the local manufacturing community as an engineer when I graduated. In fact a lot of manufacturing employers will actually pay for your college if it's a degree that benefits the company. I worked with plenty of engineers who gor their degrees that way.

Thai Express is always solid. I love them. Whataburger is Sonic. If you can't wait to get a Whataburger in the 417, then you can in Fayetteville. Not worth the trip but if you're there then you wont be perplexed.
