So after a casenet search he isn’t arrested but does have a warrant for a possession from this year. Case was filed 07/22. Given that bit it is probably less likely for him to risk staying in a homeless camp and more likely for him to be staying with a friend or friends. I understand you wish to find your brother but the police are on Reddit believe it or not so this post maybe help you however it is detrimental to those staying in the camps. These camps are kept secret for the simple fact that if anyone from the city knows where they are, they’ll be run off and their property destroyed. It’s not easy for the homeless to replace things like sleeping bag, tents, ect, so why make a post asking for the information publicly. I’ve personally dealt with Springfield’s finest in one of the old camps so seeing a post like this makes me sick to my stomach.

DIY tip:

https://www.domyown.com/bed-bug-kit-p-233.html (they have more stuff to look at, just type in bed bug and do some research)

https://www.domyown.com/how-to-get-rid-of-bed-bugs-a-449.html (article about how to treat and ways to get rid of them, it's cool to read. It even has videos of the process)

I've used the products from this website for just basic maintenance, but in 2021 we bought a house that had a roach infestation my partner and I were unaware of (I guess they hid it well. I was freaking pissed). I tried everything from amazon/stores and even called an exterminator and I still saw some (over the course of like 4 months). I bought a bottle off this website for $10 and used a gallon sprayer and have never seen another roach since. Every six months or so I order another bottle and go around the yard to be safe. I don't know if this will work as well since bed bugs are hell to get rid of, but it could be a last resort, or you could use the products as a follow-up treatment like I did after the first extermination. I do believe that a lot of the stuff they sell is professional grade, so it should be the same type of products an exterminator would use. It probably depends on the case though. If it's to the point where you lift up your mattress and the corners are black and hundreds scatter, your home needs the be quarantined off and bombed (and the home heat treated) by a professional to kill them.

If you have a garage or a safe backyard to put some of your furniture/clothes outside and keep it covered from the elements, the negative-degree weather coming up should be cold enough to kill eggs. But I wouldn't bring them in until you have eradicated the little b*stards. Good luck OP.

edit: If you buy anything, make sure to read if it requires a separate sprayer. You can buy them elsewhere for a bit cheaper too!

Please do not post (or ask others to post) the camp locations here, or elsewhere, or they will be bulldozed by the city and folks will lose one of the few places they can exist. I hope your brother is okay, but you should take this down.

That's awful and terrifying.
