That.. that is actually plausible. It would take a couple years but, that's exactly what they're worried about, and that's why they're trying to scare the shit out of the public.

Do you think banking algorithms are a practical innovation for real people the way the combustion engine was? Then why is everyone so poor? I’m not technophobic.

It's a neat thing and I'd like to try it, but no way I'm giving a real phone number.
I understand why they want that, but they need to understand why I say no.

The combined name is definitely shitty, but I can't think of a brand in media with more recognition and retro appeal than Paramount. It was an OG movie studio and a highly promoted brand until very recently.

Welp...
Traditionally tech always seemed like a safe harbor compared to other industries. Its also a sign of recession when the tech bubble pops, if late 90s/2000s are anything to go by.

This is one of the stupider things I've seen on Reddit, and I peruse r/all on a weekly basis.

It's just clickbait. Look at a chart of total tech employment over the last 10 years. There's a huge surge especially from 2015->2022. Then there's a small drop. Employment levels are still higher than they were at the start of 2020 in tech despite the total USA workforce having shrunk by hundreds of thousands of workers in the same period of time.

GPT has the potential to be a fantastic digital assistant. It also has the potential to be a fucking curse on humanity, if the tech is abused by shitheads, which it almost certainly will be.

Oh ya. I have researched the topic heavily, and am a front end dev, who has done a LOT of SEO work for marketing/advertising firms and SEO focused companies. The tools are very scary, even at the free tiers.

The business insider is making a record number of articles on ChatGPT. I wonder how much they were paid to endlessly promote this?

Again, the issue is not the tech, it’s how we distribute the benefits of the tech. In a society where robots have taken over our jobs, we should seek to provide everyone with a minimum standard of living so they can pursue their own passions

You can literally buy American chips in Taiwan or Vietnam. Set up a company in one of those countries and buy blacklisted products. Create a network to obfuscate the buyer and you get this.
