Well yeah, I don't expect there to be a magic trick or anything. But ChatGPT helps smooth the rough and sharp edges of my stuff. Whether it be the resume, cover letter or even my profile on relevant recruitment websites.
Fuckin sucks. Good luck to you, hope you find a job that works for you.

The expected “infinite growth” model has always given me a good chuckle. I worked for a few people who I considered to be pretty damn intelligent. This was almost a creed for them. So fuckin stupid
I don’t think greed is going anywhere anytime soon unfortunately

Great, that’ll work for you this week. Then everyone’s will be exactly the same and you’ll be back where you started. You, the worker, did not win any ground today.
I’m unemployed as well. I’m sorry there’s no magic trick.

Yep, everything you said is true. There's so much bullshit formality or social rules I'm too stupid (or the anxiety gets the better of me) to know. It's just better to use ChatGPT. I can't even write a single sentence sometimes. Not to forget a lot of bullshit requirements. It's always been a bullshit fake digital paper. We, the worker, finally have a tool that allows us to skip the time consuming bullshit end of the stick.
Also yes I am taking this personally... because I am in the middle of the job hunting process. So yea, I'd say figuring out how to get past the bullshit is something that hits quite close to home.

In my case it's them breaking server tools like Helm due to having hard dependencies on specific locations that may not exist.

Is it really cynical to believe that Apple is only doing what Apple has demonstrated they want to and are willing to do over and over again?

The cynic in me suggests that this is a feature, not a bug. Apple would far rather sell new machines than facilitate the second hand market.

Unions can’t force employers to keep members employed, if they downsize, reorganize or need to cut headcount a union can’t stop that.

With the current stats in the market there’s never been a recession though.

This is pure conspiracy theory bullshit. Yes, the fed's mandate is to control inflation. They do that by raising rates. Rates were probably unhealthily low if anything. That might cause a recession, but that's not the goal.
Layoffs are happening because dumb fucks on wall street and the VCs in the valley are predicting a recession that may or may not actually happen. They therefore want to see blood in the water to know these companies are serious about treating their feelings seriously, despite companies like Google being ridiculously profitable. These companies should just start paying dividends and put an end to this infinite growth, short term quarterly thinking bullshit that has them laying off thousands of workers despite historically good numbers.

Read about the Twitter Files which Elon recently released to the public. The FBI and the CIA even had secret moderators at twitter that had access to see DMs, and artificially pump/dump trends.

Easily... especially now since GPU mining is dead after the Ethereum merge. They can just get it from former miners for pennies on the *ahem* yuan.

There are party members in various countries that the CCP has financial interest in, they could easily "crowd source" through those people. 10 high end graphics cards will just look like someone setting up a crypto mining setup.

AI is going to take jobs. That is the goal.
It will not be fair, whatever that is. When has the world ever been fair?
