Based on this related article from NASA, my understanding is that the oxygen will be extracted directly from the regolith.

Given that they're already going to be processing the stuff to obtain the metals in the first place, that makes more sense than drawing O2 from the ice, and can be done at any old site on Luna, which is not the case if you're dependent on polar ice.

That's the nature of a two party system. You get more votes if you position yourself fairly close to the other party. That way you get a bigger share of the 'middle of the road' voters.

If the democrats were any more left-wing, they'd get fewer votes.

You don't get to vote for someone you like, just the party you dislike least.

Yes, but this all reminds me of the "Xerox invented the GUI" stuff. It's not sure it makes who invents what, it matters who can go to market with it.

Google has been treading water for years, living off stuff they already made and people depend on. When they stop depending on it and/or it gets regulated out of existence, they're screwed.

I love putting in a bunch of text, and asking it to pull out the major themes - that usually takes me so long, but it being able to crunch language and extract some relevance is wonderful. I do wonder why it's going to be such a difference for search. Is it simply a better algorithm than Google? Are search results still links to sites (which will always be a deeper experience than a simple answer)? I don't really have time to compose entire questions. I type in a few words and want a result... I think I'm old.
