Think "product placement" instead of "position placement".

Generation 1: You're searching on a keyword or a web page has a keyword and advertisers who have bid on that keyword place ads on that page. Search for "car" or go to a car related website and you see Ford ads.

Generation 2: Information about you is being tracked such that a profile gets created suggesting you'd be a match for a product that an advertiser is willing to pay to show an ad for. Chat about wanting to buy a new car and see Ford ads across any website you visit.

Generation 3: Same as above, but now as you seek out content, that content is being customized for you around that advertiser's product.

Remember when CNET got busted recently for AI generated articles? Imagine if every user got the article written slightly differently around products based on the collected data of a user profile.

So now an article about the transition to electric vehicles is focused on the new electric Ford Mustang as opposed to the Tesla, because there's enough profile information on you to customize the article that way.

No LLM is going to replace any software developers. All that will happen is Developers get more efficient which means leadership asks for more features in tighter deadlines.

Anyone who thinks management won't just expect more from employee's is foolish.

Blue Origin has never made a single orbit of the planet yet. The guy has delusions of grandeur and no results yet. I say ignore Blue Origin until they have achieved SOMETHING. Barely breaking the Karman line and then falling immediately back down does not count as space flight in my book.

I think all Google employees should consider this very real fact. They might want to consider... Pacing themselves. Not so slow that get fired for being incompetent but not so fast they get fired fast.

Anyways... The employees are going into the grinder when it's all done.

I forgot to add some important information so I'll add it in this comment. The USB-Hub I'm looking at buying is a relatively cheap one I found on amazon which claims to have "fast" connects but I'm not too versed in what is considered good or not, you can look at it here. My internet connection with my ethernet adaptor is 876.3 Mbps download and 539.6 Mbps upload, you also look at the ethernet adaptor I'm using here.

>If you look it up you can see that Premium only refers to the price tag. A Rolex is a premium, even if it performs less functions than a smart band, which is not premium.

I did look it up as you can see above in my edit and I used a chatbot because I wanted the specific definition regarding computers, not just anything (and I was lazy).

but it gets the work done ALL THE FUCKING WAY, and not just halfway. It's more than just a typewriter. No mittens, FLYING. No adapters and external power to plug a Wacom Cintiq Pro that's heavy and shit anyways to do some real work in zbrush. The keyboard is great (the old one was a little creaky though, I'll give you that, but that was in 2013 or so), and the trackpad just ok (I work with a mouse, touchscreen and a stylus, and why use a trackpad when you have a touchscreen anyway, mine is automatically turned off as soon as I turn the mouse on). But my Spectre is also top of the line, there are also models with substandard components for way less money. And it was still on par price-wise with a toy that is called MacBook.

It seems like a Mac is sufficient for you, and that's ok, you can count yourself lucky.
