** Andor is proving itself to be a well written, excellently directed and brilliantly realized Star Wars property. I have been so disappointed and frustrated with this IP since Rogue One and Last Jedi and it finally seems like we have a worthy follow up. Written with very little actual reverence to the IP, Tony Gilroy manages to breathe new life into this rich world with well written characters that seem to have their own lives and struggles outside of the Skywalker saga. The score by Nicholas Britell ('Succession') is such a great companion to the drama on screen. Stellan Skarsgard and Diego Luna make this seem like such an adult show. Part Americans, part John Le Carre, this show is kinda brilliant. I'm deeply excited about what it entails in the coming weeks.
