Alright, I'm gonna have to put a meta post out there, because the amount of articles that get posted and boosted to the top of the subreddit for the same show, every single day, is getting out of control. Imagine having an episode or general discussion for a show every single day, with articles that barely say or do anything other than to get the show title at the top of the subreddit.
Now, it's very hard to prove that companies are pushing these articles and then doing everything they can to put them at the top of the page, and even though it's very likely, we can't be 100 percent certain. But does that really matter? The reality of the situation is, is that this sub still gets spammed to high heavens by articles that don't say anything of value, and are only there to keep a show in the news cycle.
I don't know what could be done to change this, a post limit by certain accounts that repeatedly spam the same show, a megathread for wildly popular shows, or some kind of quality control, but if nothing changes this entire sub will just become an adspace for big companies to desperately get you to watch their shows (if it isn't already at this point).
