I've been watching a lot of TV lately, and it struck me that in sitcoms all the way from I Love Lucy to more modern shows like King of Queens and Mike and Molly, the focus is on a couple in constant conflict.
I understand conflict can be a tool for comedy, but are there examples of shows with actual healthy, happy, non dysfunctional relationships where the comedy doesn't come from misunderstandings, arguments, lies, etc.?
