Which showrunner is better in your opinion?, Gilligan has obviously given us Breaking Bad, and Co-Ran Better Call Saul with Peter Gould, and gave us El Camino, while Sheridan has given us massive hits like Yellowstone, 1883, 1923, Tulsa King and Mayor or Kingstown.
I think Sheridan gets the edge as he is a much more diverse showrunner than Gilligan who has given us very good crime dramas, but still Crime dramas nonetheless.
I feel Sheridan is also much more consistent than Gilligan, Breaking Bad’s first 2 seasons were very inconsistent in writing and tone, and founds it’s footing with seasons 3-5, and better call Saul has a very rough first 2 seasons, a decent 3rd and 4th and a very good 5th and 6th.
Yellowstone has been much more consistent, a brilliant season 1-3, and a very very good season 4-5, 1883 was incredible and 1923 looks to be brilliant aswell, Mayor of Kingstown and Tulsa King are also brilliant, fantastically written and entertaining.
Which of the two do you prefer?
