Anyone enjoying Anna Torv on The Last of Us should check out Fringe (HBOMax in the US). By the end of its run, I ranked Fringe slightly higher than The X-Files.

As a full series, Fringe ended much more satisfactorily to me. I still love the first 7 seasons of the X-Files, but Fringe wins out for complete show.
