I've read about how they're trying to develop it for a third season, but there probably won't be much movement on it based on so much shakeout from streaming services.
As you can imagine, creating a period piece that uses such specific medical equipment and set dressing is extremely expensive to make. Adding to this problem, the showrunners are currently attached to ANOTHER period specific series, Perry Mason. I liked that show, but I also know that it's going to take a lot of effort to keep that production afloat at HBO. It doesn't leave much time for the showrunners of The Knick to boost interest and raise money for the backburner project.
I'd love to see it though.

It’s great but it’s depressing.

I loved the role reversal. Saffy was the responsible one where her mother and Patsy were the wild ones, living for the next party. This is one of my wife's favorite shows.

I don’t think this show’s for me. I enjoyed Scrubs and Cougar Town back in the day but this didn’t click with me in the same way. The perky music choices were really irritating - if you’re going to put Vampire Weekend over dialogue I’m only ever going to hear the music.

I grew up watching this with my dad. It’s still just as hilarious.

Plenty of employers have rules or restrictions on relationships between coworkers. Plus ABC is trying to sell “wholesome” and “family centric” as their brand so yeah I can understand

Username checks out.
Relationships in the workplace is a contentious issue.
Many companies don't care as long as it doesn't affect power dynamics or it doesn't negatively affects the company publicly.

There was a show on ITV in the UK years ago called The Take, first thing I saw him in and it was immediately apparent that he was different gravy. Random scene

Thank you for sensibly and respectfully making a valid point. This makes sense to me from the perspective of the corporation. But the reaction from the public (just basing it on folks Reddit and their strong outrage) still doesn’t make sense to me.

I guess, the moral of the story is never to post at 4am. Word salad or not, the point still stands and the fact that all of you are reaching for attacks and insults doesn’t minimize my point.
My bad, these guys should be branded with a scarlet.

What does that have to do with anything. Rape is a crime. It’s not the same as two consenting adults having an affair. It hurts families for sure but it’s none of our business.

Good question! I'd have to split it into categories:
- Dramas that I'd like to rewatch (The Wire and Breaking Bad)
- Sitcoms that I'd like to rewatch (The Office)
- Animes that I'd like to rewatch (Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood)
- Dramas that I'd finally have time to watch (Sopranos, Game of Thrones and Mad Men)
- Sitcoms I'd finally have time to watch (Curb Your Enthusiasm)
- Animes I'd finally have time to see (One Piece)
Well there's one left and watching Bojack Horseman while being isolated would be too dangerous so I guess I'd choose Avatar The Last Airbender.

At first I didn’t really liked the show, I thought he was overacting. But as I continued I realized he’s just a human golden retriever and he is genuinely that happy and excited. Now it’s my favourite show.
