There was a website I've seen posted somewhere, but I've totally forgotten what it was called, that simulates a TV from like the early 90s or something like that, where it just plays and plays in real time, commercials and all, and there's a visual manifestation of an old TV itself surrounding the video- you click on the knob to change channels.

The more I think about it, the more this shows sucks. It completely relies on nostalgia to work. If this show had to stand on it's own and That 70's show never existed. This would be a massive flop. And as far as the new characters go, Gwen is the only one I like. Ozzie is a massive jerk. Why would anyone be friends with him? The acting also isn't very good in general. And what's with Leia forcing herself on boys at the mall?? Let's reverse genders a bit and have a boy do that and everyone will be shouting rape. I was a teenager in the 90's and i cannot identify with these people. I watched some of the best bits of the 70's show again on Youtube after this and that show was just leagues ahead. Kelso's pocket exploding still has me in stitches. The 90's show is a pale imitation that should not have seen the light of day.

Damn, they really dumb like that. With all their different customers languages and different content languages, one would assume they don't cheap out on subs, but I guess that's the way she goes bubs. I'm most definitely cancelling Netflix before the 2nd bill comes up, illegal streams have 4k anyways

I don't think the genre is in decline. In fact I think there are more of these teen-dramas than there ever were at any given point in time.

Heartbreak High, Sex Education, Prisma, Elite, Euphoria, High School, Never Have I Ever etc. These are the Dawson Creeks and One Tree Hills of our time... just in shorter form and more stylistic... because that's just how television is nowadays.

They merged into other genres like fantasy and science fiction. Now people who want the drama still get it, but they also get people who specifically want those genres one way or another.

Edit: At least when it comes to network TV shows and some streaming shows. There are still also some streaming or cable teen dramas that aren't fantasy or science fiction. Euphoria is an obvious example.

>Give it a try. It's cute, funny, and has some great messages. I've only seen a few episodes but it's really nice that a show that teaches important lessons on friendship and health is available to all ages. Especially when some of those lessons are things you wouldn't pick up until a teenager or young adult.

So you're saying you should watch it if you're an emotionally stunted weirdo? Gotcha.

CBS got a fine for using an edited version of the alert on an episode of Young Sheldon (it was a scene involving a tornado warning). This was after CBS purposefully made sure the edited version would not activate the EAS, passing it through several filters I believe. But yeah even if you edit it or use something slightly different, FCC gonna fine you.
