I don’t think it does. Like, for example if I had 100 shares and was selling them and you bought them, you would be increasing my net worth. In a very indirect way you’re making the stock price go up (though likely a minuscule amount) and I guess that technically increases their net worth. But it only really matters if they’re selling stock after you affected the stock price.

Nice to see Jason Segel getting more and more unhinged. Last series I saw him in was Dispatches from Elsewhere and that was a fucking trip.

I love Harrison Ford, but I hate that he's cast in the typical old man with Parkinson's role. However, his comic timing is as impeccable as ever.

The show has promise just because all the characters are so deeply flawed. >!I was so annoyed with the daughter (Alice) at the end of episode 2, though. Jimmy was so thrilled to cancel his plans and spend time with her (since she originally blew him off for Taco Tuesday), but she totally messed things up and then complained that he didn't "get" the gesture. I just don't know what else he could have done in that moment to get through to her.!<

Yes they are written by the creators of the show. They are both prequels, they got into his first 'pretend' and more of the Centers origins and stuff it seems. I need to do a tv show, then movie, then book marathon one day, I haven't watched the show since the episodes were new lol

Did you just seriously try to be that needlessly mean and insult someone for "having an unmeaningful life" because they asked a question you don't approve of?

There's a lot of meaningful and worthwhile back-and-forth in many of the conversations in this thread. As someone that hasn't watched the series, I found it to be helpful and I'm glad much of it took place.

Can we get the Canadian government to understand this when they use the presidential nuclear disaster siren for everything alert-related on a phone, like Amber Alerts?
