She's the definition of fired.

Again, she tweeted out a blatantly racist attack against a black woman. She wasn't cancelled, she was fired by ABC. This is not a new phenomenon of "woke" culture. This is how business works, especially with hugely public figures.

When they brought it back it was awful though. Couldn't get into it

Maher is a pretty interesting showcase of how ideology progresses and how many people that may be seen as liberal overtime if they stay mostly the same end up closer to the right.

Yeah, the first couple of seasons were great. I assumed the ratings were at least decent at first since it kept getting renewed. Do you know if it dropped or improved in 4-5? I assume 6 was dreadful and that’s why they finally pulled the plug.
I just checked out the commercials. Ha.. I have never seen any of them. Jason Wiles looks great, it was nice seeing him.

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt4550868/?ref_=tt_eps_top
It's the highest-rated episode of the whole series and one of the highest-rated TV episodes on IMDb with a 9.6/10.

I agree that it doesn't "matter" if she lied, narratively.
However, trying to decide whether or not she lied is still kind of a fair question as a viewer.
It's not like you can conclusively say "you missed the point of the show if you're asking whether or not she lied."
But, you will certainly like the ending more if you don't linger on that.

Recently? The YouTube "Bridging the Rift" series for Arcane.
I also really liked "What We Left Behind" which was a retrospective documentary about Star Trek: Deep Space Nine

the show named after her booted her off, killed her character by accidental overdose, then renamed the show to continue on without her. she is the definition of cancelled

I don’t think they anticipated the chemistry between Josh and Donna.

It’s pretty old now and not sure a lot of people remember/heard of it. I don’t think its been in heavy syndication either.
Anyway... yeah, as I’m rewatching I have the same disappointment as I did originally when they started getting rid of the FDNY characters. If anyone deserved a happy ending, it was Doc:(

The way Sleepy Hollow shot itself in the foot was painful to watch. I loved S1 and especially the blossoming relationship between Abby and Ichabod. I guess people shipping the two was the showrunners' worst fear, because the pivot they did after the first season was nonsensical.

Really like the actress in the thumbnail, she steals every scene she is in.

They should just cut both his opening monologue and “New Rules” bit at the end. Both are the weakest parts of the show and also force conversations with guests to be rushed dude to time constraints.
But I know his ego will never allow that.
