Of course it is. Just because it doesn’t match other shows doesn’t mean that the core part of a teen drama isn’t there. It’s as much a teen drama as Smallville’s earlier seasons were and it’s not surprising that the same creators found a similar format for Wednesday.

it feels like Netflix is full of teen shows.

Mike: “Can I blow you?”
Jonah: “Uh, yes, you can. I’ll meet you in the hallway”

I think for the most part you pretty much guessed it to be honest. To me, it seems the more varied and diverse television gets, the more predictable and boring the emmys get with their choices.

I've always enjoyed that a show specifically about characters having to deal with not having answers is most commonly criticized for not offering answers

I’m not saying it’ll win, just nominated. I would love to see BCS win as well.

Every Matt centric episode was quality storytelling. One of my favorite characters ever

I believe The White Lotus has to compete in Drama or Comedy for season 2

I will be so disappointed if Chaske Spencer doesn't get a nomination for The English. I'm also certain he won't, but it would really sour me to the awards.

I'm so glad they changed the theme song, cause that song was perfection

I've seen a lot of comparison to Station Eleven since last night's episode, but, for me, the emotional gut punch of last night's TLOU actually highlighted how little emotional connection I felt to Station Eleven. With few exceptions (like Frank's rap and Miranda's episode), Station Eleven generally left me cold.

Station Eleven was amazing. Hiro Murai (EP on Atlanta who directed 26 episodes) directed episodes 1 and 3 (you'll notice the overhead shots with skewed perspectives...he does that all the time and it always works). Highly recommend.

The last season of GoT kind of skips itself, really.

More people need to hear about it! All I kept thinking after Last of Us ep 3 was how much it felt like S11 in spirit.

i thought you were talking about the boat episode (look out for it in s3), but yes, International Assassin is pretty trippy too.
