Both Avatars are tech demos for theater screens, there is literally no reason to wait for the home release.

I really enjoyed both shows. American Gigolo was more OK than brilliant but I still felt it was a solid show. Let The Right One In was actually pretty good. A bit different from the movie but a fairly good and engaging show with fun twists and turns and characters with plenty of depth to them. It had some Dexter vibes to it. I went into it with low expectations but ended up really loving it. It is such a pity it never found an audience.

I just think it's weird that a couple of 14yr olds are getting high in the Basement. I just can't fathom that. It's those things together with the drinking that make the show a little weird

It's based on a book by Emily St John Mandel of the same name. Definitely worth a read if you like the series, it differs in a few ways but has the same heart as the show.

The first season of Game of Thrones was nominated in ALL the guilds (PGA, DGA, WGA and SAG). After that, it was nominated at the Emmys in Drama Series, Supporting Actor, Directing and Writing.
House of the Dragon snubbed by the all the guilds is not a good sign.

The way that the Watchmen series (taking place after the written works) retconned the identity of Hooded Justice (from the source material) was really clever. As a Watchmen fan, I thought that the payoff was tremendous.
