idk about paradise lost. i feel like DC have so many great characters, a “game of thrones style” drama focusing on random families from themyscira doesnt intrigue me personally

Reply to La Brea Renewed For Season 3 At NBC by klutzysunshine
TVLine's article says it's only been renewed for a six-episode Season 3, with the possibility of adding more episodes.
As they bumped it up to 14 for Season 2, and now shrinking it down for Season 3, makes me assume this could be on the way out.
I hope they give it a proper ending, rather than holding out on the hopes for a Season 4.

Instant gratification, social media (tiktok, snapchat, Youtube shorts, FB stories) making people only want to consume 30 seconds of entertainment before moving on to the next funny video or whatever. Not to sound like a grumpy old man, but I feel like a lot of people who ask this question are younger and need to be entertained NOW. But I also understand that some middle aged people might ask this too because they don't have much free time and need to be more selective in what they watch in their spare time.

I'm just so glad that DC movies and TV are finally converging into a coherent universe. Berlanti needed to go.

Really? I thought they were all kind of par for the kinds of characters you saw in other sitcoms from that same era.
And maybe it’s because I have family from NYC and spent a lot of time there, George and Jerry’s parents were stereotypical NY parents.

I wouldn't let my house be include in a TV show for 10,000 a day. Look no further than the pizza shit that goes on with the Breaking Bad house for how much you don't want that mess.

I think the poster meant, you calling it old, means we're all getting old. 24 years ago-wow. ER is still in reruns on POP, & considering TW was spun off from that-surprised POP hasn't put it into rotation with it.

Just finished the first episode, I could not stop laughing. I had seen some of the shorts on Instagram and thought them funny but this show is too damn good.

I still dream of a world where the writers could have made 10 episode prestige TV instead of having to crank out 24 episodes a season. People always bitch “they didn’t have a plan and had too many loose ends” which I blame mostly on the need to fill that much air time.

James said that the Lanterns series will be set on Earth, but I hope that other Lanterns will appear in the series too, mainly Kilowog, Ch'p, Arisia and Laira.

Noooo! I really liked this show. Dana was insufferable for a big portion of it, but I was curious about where it would lead. Ugh.

I sincerely hope they recast her or if nothing else, minimize her on screen time.

Hmmm I would say it’s a 6 mainly because I don’t see the point of making most of the episode about that relationship in order to only have the letter to Joel make sense to us.

I guess, if you're looking for something to be offended by. 'Episode ratings by volume and subject relative to number of viewers, and the conspiracy theories behind them'- wow. I wish I had the spare time to think about stuff like that.

it wasn’t necessary to see the whole thing, but i dont really think it detracts from it either. its nice to see the show flesh the world out more. we didnt need to see sara’s entire day before the outbreak or the whole cold open from episode 2 either (i realize those take up less time but you get the idea)

Because free time is valuable and people don't want to waste it watching crap.
Remember it used to be if ratings fell hard enough on network shows they would be pulled from the schedule within 6 episodes or less never to be seen again.
