There is something to be said that a whole slew of netflix series seem to abuse vignetting and selective focus, or whatever correct term applies here. When I first noticed it while watching You, I started seeing it everywhere.

Jarred Harris was in it and I didn't care. I would have wrestled a polar bear for him in The Terror. Or the Expanse or Chernobyl. A radioactive one. Melting.

Agreed! I really enjoyed it, but that’s because every other Star Wars show has been shit. I was happy to finally see other parts of the Star Wars universe.

But I would not put it on the same level as Last of Us.

Love and Thunder was abysmal crap!!! On paper it was a surefire success! Watiti, bale, portman. Then they crapped the bed

I would love a BioShock game. I’d also love to see proper adaptations of Horizon and God of War, but I’m not optimistic given it’s Netflix and Prime working on those.

I think there’s a chance we ge Part III in the next few years and it gets adapted into Seasons 4 and 5.

Absolutely not. Look, I love The Last of Us. I’ve played both games and will probably replay them soon. But it doesn’t even come close to Breaking Bad or Game of Thrones and it never will.

Paramount+ blows Crave out of the water. I only used Crave when I got it for free with my cable package, even then, pirating shows was way better.

Legacy will be that video game stories are great and handed to the right crew can make money. If anyone gets their hands on Bioshock (hopefully HBO), and they are heavily influenced by the novel it will be gold

Of course not. TLoU isn't bad, but it's so far from being the masterpiece that many people want to make it out to be. This sub is lacking good and innovative shows or is very sensitive to mass marketing. What a shame.

The first two episodes are good, I'm curious where they are bringing all the stuff they've introduced.

But they weren't as strong as season 1, which isn't a surprise but it a shame.

It's an uneven show. But on the balance, I really like it. There is some weak acting that I find distracting. Dialogue could have been written better in places. And the special effects are not as strong as in the more expensive fantasy shows.

But the story of season 1 was fantastic. The characters are generally well fleshed out. The world is fascinating and somewhat unique. The music is wonderful. The visuals of the show (apart from some special effects stuff) really draw you in. The politics of the world feel real. The whole thing is very engaging.

Everyone keeps saying this but has it been confirmed? The cancellation announcement was made well after the second season finished filming. I wasn't so sure that the writers were given the head's up necessary to tie up loose ends.

I actually thought Cara Delevigne improved significantly this season. Her acting was the low point of the show for me in season 1. I didn't notice it taking me out of the story nearly as much with these first two episodes of season 2.
