It's a decent steampunk/fantasy concept; basically, "the Fae" - beings that are mythological in our reality, like fauns and faeries - are living creatures in this world, but there's a lot of prejudice against them from the human majority. Intrigue and some action ensues when a bunch of Fae refugees end up living in Carnival Row, a slum district in a majority-human city.

The problem is that the two protagonists (a faerie radical played by Cara Delivingne and a human cop played by Orlando Bloom) are kind of boring. The glimpses of life in Carnival Row often suggest events and characters who are more interesting than the leads, which gets frustrating.

Production design is good, though.

It’s a massive and illogical leap to go from 3.2bn people watched at least some of the Premier League (so certainly not even a whole game and no guarantee it was a Man Utd game at that), and then deduce from that the majority of those people know about Man Utd, let alone support it financially (through ticket or merchandise purchases etc), which is what accrues such big value to these brands.

Moreover, albeit according to WWE themselves, their programming reaches over 1.2bn people a year worldwide.

> According to WWE's own statistics, its programming reaches over 1.2 billion homes globally in over 28 languages.

I think it's already stolen the zombie apocalypse crown from The Walking Dead. TWD has been terrible for the most part after the first season. It's had some fun moments, but overall the quality has been pretty low and the production values unimpressive. The Last of Us has more visual variety in single episodes than TWD did over full seasons, and is telling a better, tighter, more artistic story about a similar setting. It's more comparable to McCarthy's The Road than to The Walking Dead.

I"m not really sure what your argument is here. OP made the comparison, not me. The numbers aren't lying. The BB wiki page shows the number of viewers for each episode. I watched it from the beginning as it aired and it was not a popular show at that time though it did receive a lot of critical acclaim.
