Yeah but when the actions are justified by the show, condoned by the show and shown to be correct by the show. Feeling "icky" about it, isn't such a bad feeling to be having.
Then you start thinking about the real world and how people condoned and encouraged these type of actions to real people, often innocent people. How this show was intentionally or not, part of a propaganda campaign. People don't say the words "Guantanamo Bay" much any more but it's still there as far as I know and "icky" doesn't cover the half of it.

>This is a slightly above average but not elite TV show.
That means nothing. It is the most watched scripted show on TV. Yellowstone is a smash hit. Critical reception means nothing, eyeballs on screens do, AKA ratings. I don't like the show at all, but there is no question or confusion as to why it is getting the funding.

Coz Yellowstone captures a lot of eyeballs. Sheridan seems to have tapped into some previously unexplored segment of the general TV audience.
Yellowstone currently captures more eyeballs than HotD and LoU. On Linear TV at least. Probably gets edged out when combining with streaming.

24 really didn't take itself too seriously. That's big part of why it was so enjoyable. It went batshit bonkers.

The best line in the show is;
"He's picklin' his prick in the cunt brine of another."

I mean, we’ve all seen Juliette at that age. She’s literally that age in Christmas Vacation.

This series was a real gem.
It is sad that it ended so early.

Two of those movies were based on true stories though.
So they should lie?

Trust me, it will be. There's two episodes and and they're nailing the cliff hangers. By the end I half expect this to happen.

You are allowed to enjoy a show and even like a character without condoning his actions.

I´m watching season 1 of Condor. Thanks for the recommendation! It´s excellent so far. I´ve seen the 1975 film Three Days of the Condor with Robert Redford and this series does justice to that excellent version up to now.

What I think is that modern sitcoms has genuinely good writing weaved in with terrible writing to target all demographics. They try to be funny to everyone which comes across as unfunny or just funny sometimes

We do have numbers though, 15 on the team of which 13 are currently accounted for.

I think they're still trying to cast Jessica Chastain as a this smart sexy can-do woman like they did in Ava, miss sloane and molly's game.

I only watched Deadwood for the first time a couple months ago.
I usually binge stuff, but it was so good I forced myself to alternate with other shows so that it wouldn't be over too fast.

I was thinking it would be nice to have a TV series based on the deception like plot device found in Fincher’s The Game.
This seems to scratch that itch.
