I'm enjoying The Night Agent but didn't get into Shadow and Bone despite having read the book.

I'm 6 episodes in based off this post and I'm surprised by how much I'm enjoying it. I've been desperate for some scifi to watch.

I ain't even gonna lie, she is fine as hell in this show, if this was her exact look and personality in real life I'd still be like a bull and charge head first into that red flag

I just saw this listed on Netflix yesterday. Anyone seen it? Any good?

So weird because growing up I always thought muppets = for adults and sesame street = for kids. Maybe that's just because sesame street was something I actively watched and the only reason I knew what muppets was was because my mom had some old muppets merch. It's strange but not surprising that soem group would get all up in arms about it though, especially since it was still just a ABC sitcom, so it's not like it was that vulgar.

Ended at Season 4 according to me.

Because these spin offs are going on Paramount+ to entice people to get their streaming service. It's relevant to the topic.

This show doesn't respect my time. It did in the first few seasons, great writing, decent level of drama between two opposing forces, a genuinely enjoyable show I looked forward to watching.

Then it all went to shit, got far too fantastical, completely wasted the casting talent and treated its audience like a bunch of mugs.

I rewatched it last year and I agree that it's really fun all the way through but S2 was quite the downgrade when they removed 2 of the best characters at once.

Endlessly defend the ending as good and the writers as having had a plan the whole time and you just don't get it.

Showtime shows end too late. Netflix shows end too soon. HBO shows, for the most part, end at the right time.

Well I guess it's time for a Deadwood re-watch, then I know I'll have to keep my Timothy Olyphant man crush rolling so I'll have to watch some Justified as well.

I mean how much of Succession have you seen? I was in the same boat as you when I started it but it just gets so good as it goes on. It's not boring at all and is paced pretty quick compared to the average HBO show. I've seen it literally compared to Game of Thrones by some. Succession gets the awards bc of how great its writing is.

What other shows do you think deserve more acclaim? Better Call Saul's over now, so Succession's taken its rightful throne, no? Severance is amazing so far but it's only in its first season
