Read the article, and while I agree Atlantas female characters were very under developed. DGs comments on thinking a dangerous killer should be portrayed as a dog, should not matter if character is female, black, or have a fucking lisp. It is about the characters presence not the thing brought up, nice try though.

I really hope that the franchise survives this. I really like the world

Why do people even argue about this? The series was way better then much of the series who got renewed for like 8 seasons so yeah, this series deserves to continue due to the decent script, the good acting and the great screenplay.

Lizzo is a real life person, Schmidt and Monica are fictional characters.

it's by the same guys that made jackie chan adventures - solid voice cast too, I watched some episodes recently and they still hold up

A creator creates and an audience likes the creation or not. I stop reading whenever anyone discusses who someone dates because, frankly, it's not their business in any way.

Fat men are fair game still. Can’t say anything bad about fat women though, see Lizzo for reference.

Matt Groening for sure, I hadn't heard about the other writers. James L. Brooks was behind it happening so he was for it. https://www.cbr.com/simpsons-matt-groening-removed-name/

I’m into cars and car stuff so it still scratches that itch for me. I find the current humour a bit puerile though.
Pulling down each others trousers and wedging etc.

That scene fucked me up as a kid. There were tons of brutal fates in the show though. The guy who became insubstantial and fell to the center of the earth, the radioactive zombie dad that’s trapped underground, the Splicer who gets injected with a bunch of animals’ DNA and turns into a misshapen monster. Show was dark as hell for a kids show.

I think I last remember it starting at 10 with King of the Hill, but I'd never thought it'd be sarly as 7. I haven't watched cable in forever, but wouldn't parents have an issue with that?

I liked the spin-off, The Zeta Project. The plot was pretty interesting and it was cool that they tried to talk about serious themes, much like Static Shock had done. Too bad WB gutted the show to the point the creator decided to abandon it, we never got any resolution.

Yes! I thought this too and didn’t even get to it. The “controversial” jokes in Friends were not about laughing at bigots, that’s a weird attempt at a historical rewrite. And I don’t really have an issue with Friends at all myself, it’s just dated.

This is one of many shows that had a strong start and just petered out before it got to the finish line. The absence of John Singleton (long live) can definitely be felt. We need more Damson Idris after this show ends though.

Really? I don't think that show would have been even close to as successful as it was without him.
