I think it's maybe suffering from coming off the back of Andor, I also think the pacing of the season has been a bit off for some reason but hopefully that will improve now that they're getting further into the story (I'm actually not sure how many episodes there are in each season so I may be way off thinking pacing will improve).

It's a bit down compared to series one. Personally, I think Grogu shouldn't be in it any more - it's absurd that he lugs around essentially a baby on risky combat missions, although I recognise this is just part of the show I need to accept to engage with it.

I found the Empire infiltration plot interesting - best sequence for me so far was the plight of the Imperial scientist working for the New Republic now. It was at least interesting and new.

I also like the general Mandalorian rebuilding plot - we'll see where they go with that.

Weak plots have been everything involving giant monsters attacking foundlings, an overused idea. I found them boring and also kind of dumb.

I'm sure some did hate the constant trans jokes at times, they just didn't have social media be as big of a platform to share.

But thats not the point. The person said nobody found it offensive back then. I provided people who found it offensive. They were wrong. We weren't talking what groups found it offensive

I'm enjoying it, the bid to reunite the clans and retake Mandalore is really interesting to me and I can see the massive issues that will arise from it eventually and how Din will likely be forced from his own clan too.

The Grogu situation feels like it has reached an impasse currently but that's fine as the show doesn't have to be solely about unearthing the mysteries of Baby Yoda.

I do wonder though given the cameo in the new episode and the bit in the first episode with Grogu if they may alienate people who haven't seen Rebels but that's probably the only thing that occurs to me.

Loved all of it! RoTJ was incredible. With all the weird permutations of Batman Movies that have come out over the years I can't believe nobody has had a go at a live action version. Could be incredible!

I just can't start a new Netflix show until there are more than 2 seasons. Every show seems to get 1-2 sessions and then gets cancelled.

It's just not worth it to start a show that then gets cancelled. Season 2 renewals mean nothing to me at Netflix, other than Netflix hasn't decided to axe it yet.

I don't mind shows ending, but all shows should have an ending. Or at least should be given the opportunity to have one.

In the beginning of the article, the author reveals her bias and a really unfair one at that. For some bizarre and likely hypocritical racist reason, she's clearly upset about Donald Glover's dating choices. From there, she writes what feels like a very unfairly biased rant against the work that doesn't adequately address the quality or content show and focuses way too much on Glover. Glover is a free man in a socially free society. He can date whoever he wants to.

Swarm isn't my type of show, and I'm not going to watch it, so maybe the show isn't good. But I'm not really a fan about how she goes about it, and I don't see any evidence of Glover hating women or Black women at all.
