Well I can't speak for them, but for me, my eyes glaze over whenever I read someone bitching that something is too "woke" or uses any number of keywords that reveal to me more about them than they probably intended to. Is it perfect? No. But otherwise you're going to spend your days filling your brain with trash from disingenuous people who want to bait you into giving their shit more attention than it deserves just so you can say you gave it a fair shake.

Sometimes I don't feel like playing GTA5, even though I like Franklin. Sometimes I don't feel like replaying GTA:SA, even though I like the corrupt cop versus honest gangbanger dynamic. Sometimes I don't feel like dipping my toe into the Saints' Row franchise. Sometimes I don't feel like watching Let's Plays on YouTube.

Luckily, FX saw me and my specific demographic, and that's why they literally combined all of these elements to bring me Franklin Saints in Snowfall. I'm on S2 already and am loving how the Mexican cartel and CIA storylines are finally coming to a head and beginning to bleed over into Franklin's day-to-day. And the best part is? I can just sit back and turn off my brain and not have to worry about following no trains.

I know I’m in the minority, but I’ve been enjoying the hell out of the shows thus far. I would hope it leads to some event movie in the future since the majority of these shows are in the “Mandoverse”

Yeah, the show uses Mando as container to touch other tangential plot points, and fill in gaps between RotJ and tFA, and lingering questions from the other animated shows, so in season 2 they touched on Ahsoka, that show will fill in from Rebels. Season 3/4 of Mando will be about more of the First Order origins and Moff Gideon.

It’s wild, it’s like the entire series lost its structure when Boba fett came out.

Such a wasted opportunity of something that could have been so great. Also, the high quality writing of Andor probably gave people a new perspective of what “could have been”.

I haven't watched a lot of the newer Trek, but I enjoyed my time with Strange New Worlds, overall. My favorite part of Trek has always been the optimism and exploration of ethical dilemmas. I felt like the series delivered on that for me.

After he got Grogu back his goal was to get back in with the cult. During that journey he and Bo Katan discovered things about Mandalor and now the goal is to reunite all Mandalorians and take back the planet. All the while they're sowing seeds for the rise of the First Order.

The characters themselves may have not known this is where they were going but the show seems pretty direct in what they've been trying to accomplish this season to me.
