Lowery worked with Jude Law on the upcoming Peter Pan and Wendy movie, he's Hook. Disney+ having Lowery on their directors belt will probably end up being great for the service.

I like it. I really only want The Mandalorian to be a series of disconnected episodes so I don’t mind the criticism that it’s not building to anything. I hated season 2 for getting way too big with too many characters and I really just wanted ”The Adventures of Mando and Baby Yoda Just Doing Things I Guess.”

Like, I actively didn’t want Luke Skywalker and the return of a great evil in my Mando show. I just want a monster of the week show.

It’s not perfect but it’s way better than I thought it’d be when Luke Skywalker showed up last season. It also clearly was shot around Pedro Pascal’s availability.

I love that the Star Wars shows are basically being directed by totally unexpected people. They got Peter ramsey (Into he Spider-verse), Lee Isaac Chung (Minari), and Rachel Morrison (the DP on Black Panther) for Mando season 3. An absolutely awesome assortment of people

Guillermo in What We Do In The Shadows.

Michael Bluth in Arrested Development

I love that both of these characters think of themselves as the straight man (and they are) but in their own ways they are nearly as awful (or enabling awful) or unreasonable as the people around them. Guillermo knows the vampires he lives with are murderous, out of touch and eccentric but he still defends and excuses their behavior because he also desperately wants to be included and join their ranks. Michael understand his family is out of touch and their awfulness gives him a huge ego because he thinks he is so much more reasonable and a much more moral person but he is pretty shitty himself.

>Picard Season 1 and 2 were absolute garbage

Hard disagree. So many people hated it just for the fact that it actually tried something a little bit new, without having any kind of cogent criticism other than "Its just bad! BAAD BAAAD!"

> SNW was finally good but the only Star Trek show that actually tried to be Star Trek.

SNW was okay, but let's not pretend that six good episodes out of ten is setting any kind of records.

It’s the hypocrisy of the double standard. I didn’t say I want to be mean to her, but I don’t think her morbid obesity should be cheered or celebrated either. Hell when she said she was going to go on a diet a year or two ago, she got huge backlash for being “fatphobic” or other such nonsense, just for trying to get healthier.

Being fat is a result of poor food and exercise choices 99% of the time. Yes I know there are fringe cases where there is a medical problem or someone with a disability but the vast majority of people are just lazy and overeat garbage food. It should not be celebrated and promoted because it normalizes it which causes a ton of problems for society, along with severely straining the healthcare system.
