I remember that a radio DJ had a skit about the DC slug lines. In the skit he (variations where he was driver or passenger) would get entrails from a butcher and put them along with knives in a briefcase. On the commute he’d then open the case to get some papers from the brief. Knives and guts revealed.

Yup, the risks people take to use the HOV lanes.

Sorry, you just seem childish to me; nothing in your reply to me has changed my mind.

He said something that sounded like "I don't care" probably because he doesn't.

He doesn't have to, either. It isn't his job to manage your feelings, he manages the people that work for your company.

>I believe that I am the one that is not being taken seriously even though I can be on almost every position and I am being used.

Most people feel that way, which is why that other commenter accused you of main character syndrome. I'd love for my employer to give me choicier assignments and take me more seriously than they do. But that shit is earned, not entitled. The sooner you accept that, the happier you will be.

And yes you are being used, that's how employment works. The exchange is your time for whatever paid compensation you and your employer agreed to. As long as the employer is paying you, they get to use you for the time that's on your contract.

Unless you have legitimate medical reasons for not doing a task, any request you make for a different task is just that - a request; one they're entitled to decline.

Your only other option is to quit and maybe you can find a job that suits you, but you're being silly with all your moaning.

Mine progressed so quickly. Went from weekly scans to twice a week scans to "go in for monitoring" in less than 2 weeks. Then when I got there the hope was to get me to at least 32 weeks but just later that day it turned into "he's going to be born tomorrow." Then he worried them a bit overnight that they brought up the possibility of emergency c-section but luckily we found a sleeping position that kept him stable until the scheduled one. I was so relieved (and exhausted) when I heard him cry that I passed out for the rest of my c-section.

If we hadn't previously decided to be done at 2 kids, we definitely would have stopped after all that. I refuse to go through all that again.

This slugging thing was a legitimate thing in Northern California when I lived there decades ago. Folks would stand near highway on-ramps in places like Orinda and get picked up to count as car pools over the Bay Bridge. Those were the days.

Edit: it was called “casual carpooling” and nay still be a thing. https://www.ridenow.org/carpool/

I think this is your best chance, if you send a few like hey it accidentally sent out too many times students are more likely to just read the newest one especially if you make it seem in the subject like it’s the right one.

It’s not just a video of a girl dancing, it’s a compilation of only ass shots of a woman the same age as your students… I’d be so uncomfortable if I got this from a professor tbh.
