Curious, what did you propose, OP? Decrease the expectations for these facilities and accept management wont get so much? We all dream of that;) actually, the way it accidentally happened, is about the best way you could express yourself. Now you've vented without any liability (cause accident) and its all going to get better for you:) obviously they handled it well, and actually asked you for an advice on solution of this. Could have gone much worse, so actually things went really well - this day was about the most productive day in your career, otherwise you would need months/years just to break the ice. What you can do now is to suggest better solutions.

And I agree, each recession is an excuse to decrease the lowest sallaries, and every good period with profits is usually just an excuse to increase the highest sallaries. There should be laws governing these changes through time, cause this is now systemical.

I've been working at the same place for at least 2 years. Were you charged twice? (once when you went to the store for a pick up order plus when the manager told you to order it again but use Uber eats). The fact that you had the original receipt handy is usually helpful. But at my business, there's not much we can do if customers show up several days later. But I don't know what rules are applied to Shake Shack specifically. Next time you go there, ask a different employee if they're a manager. If they are, I'd go over details with them. But if you notice the same manager every time your near shake shake, I wouldn't wanna waste time

If the transaction(s) was/were done over the weekend, it very likely won't show until the next business day or two. If it's a credit card transaction, they typically take longer to appear on the account than it does with a debit transaction. I'd drop it at this point. Manager handled beautifully. Good customer service.

Not what you're asking exactly but what you're describing reminds me of how Rejection Sensitive Dysphoria makes me feel. I have ADHD and this feeling is a big barrier to my happiness. If you can afford to, it might improve your quality of life to get into mental health treatment. My life changed for the better with treatment, and while that feeling isn't gone, it is less prevalent.

Get video evidence, as much as you can whether it’s just your phone recording the inside of your pocket, get that audio, video is golden especially if that knife BS ever happens again, her lies and the police are something to consider, family taking sides as well, that’s why getting that audio or video evidence is key

I am this guy at my company, I will sit back and let everyone discuss what they think we should do and listen to everyone, then my boss will look to me for my unfiltered opinion on it. Sometimes we agree, sometimes we don't, but he knows he can trust me not to kiss anybody's ass and more often than not it helps us to address issues the C levels have overlooked.

I only did cross in high school so can’t speak for anything outside of that while there were people at various points of the track I don’t remember all too often someone directing to make sure a wrong turn wasn’t made

Then the kicker other people were like we ran through the course and I’m like once isn’t something that is going to allow me to remember every twist and turn.

Just last weekend I had a 5k race where the first 20+ people all got lost because an out and back turn was missing. We all ran 3.5mi instead of 3.1mi. It happens. The race organizers were the embarrassed ones, because the course markings disappeared on them and the course should have been better marked overall.

SSI, if that is what you're looking into, has a process for people who don't have verifying documents. Just keep appealing and you should be able to get to someone who can "assess" you. And, when you do applications and interviews, they don't wanna know how you usually do, they wanna know how you are on your WORST DAYS. SSI is also for people who both cannot work at all, or cannot work to their full potential due to disability.
