As long as you had a good attitude about it probably just make you more memorable and could help you get the job. Stuff like this happens all the time and most people wouldn't pay too much attention or remember for long.

This experience will definitely make you stick out in their minds. However, from the sounds of it the interview went well. This might be a good thing in terms of keeping your name on the top of their head. It’ll be a bad source of nicknames once you start though.

They rarely ask in US. Only once they asked one of my friends at the departure. I travel overseas frequently too. In most cases we have notarized letters. Once I left a letter overseas coming back, and that is the only time they asked me if I have permission to bring the kids back to US. I told them I had a letter but left it back overseas and they were cool with it.

lmao, no.

Stop bringing disgrace to our people with comments like this, I’m actually embarrassed and don’t even want to be seen as sharing ancestry with you.

Thankfully opinions like yours are in a minority, and constitute just irrelevant rambling of our-of-touch folks. Old man yelling at cloud, etc etc.
